U.S. President Woodrow Wilson never visited Europe or Turkey and he just drew a line on the map. The Wilsonian Arbritration and Treaty of Sèvres giveth and the Treaty of Lausanne taketh away. The Armenian were not the only inhabitants of the land. The Armenian kingdom held this land for a while and it was also part of Persian and Roman empires.

If We take into account of lie economic figures (It is uderstood with this financial crises) Greece government released to EU to hide the amounts of military spendings, It may be true but The actual point of this thread is Neither the GDP's of Greece, nor Turkey. We are talking about the defence spendings, technological advancements of Turkey and enemy relations...

As long as You keep threatening our strategic values in Aegean and Cyprus, You will take what you deserved like 1996, 1974, 1920's... I want to ask Turkish and Greek members here as to what would it take to achieve a re-conciliation, or the semblance of one, between their countries. The mistrust exists at both ends of the Aegean and overlaps centuries. That may not be remedied but what would it take to at least diminish it in your opinion?

Suppose that Armenian government claims to take some lands from Turkey. What's the odds ? It will be a pleasure for us to counter a country like Armo politically and militarily. Instead of having an eye on Turkish territory, Care finding more foods, energy resources for your nation living in Armenia.. If Turkey keep border gates closed more time, You will begin starving...

Wilson just drew a line...hahaha. Anyway you are right about Persians and Romans. However Armenian and Persians were good friends and getting conquered by Romans was no fun but Armenia maintain its lands as a vassal state. The seperate Kingdom of Cilicia is a good example. By the time Turks got to us (using Malmuks who were mostly stolen Armenian babies trained to kill) we were already beaten to the ground by many invasions and battles that had claimed the blood line of our bravest and strongest.
regardless, the biggest enemy Armenians ever had/have is Armenians themselves....Turks know this very well.

If Turkey cannot act like a responsible neighbor then it is not our fault....Turkey close border because Azeris get their ***** kicked, now they say we open border but you must drop the AG issue, accept current illigal borders with Turkey, and give land back to Azeri loosers. Turkey has good sense of humor.

Armenia has survived with the border closed and even during the Russia-Georgia war when Upper Lars Pass route to Russia was closed. I think it is just a Armenian diplomatic tactic to keep Turkey on hot seat. The best trade routes for Armenia are still through Georgia.
