It means Pakistan will need to counter s400 and means one will probably be more missiles and nukes to try and overwhelm the system

As s400 is still a few years from induction, Pak will then spend time working in counter strategies

This is an escalation

How far gas Ababeel MIRV got? We have a few years to full induction

india will get them in 2019 ie one year if it signed this agreement.

Pakistan sort of has a counter to this system. Which is MIRV missile systems. Pakistan has successfully developed and tested an MIRV missile called Ababeel. It can act as a counter to this system if developed further and deployed.

This is just an unwarranted move by the government of India. Pakistan has every right to share the concerns for a regional arms race which frankly the region can do without given the despair of human development.

Isn't the s400 a defensive system? It poses a threat to Pakistan in the sense that it aims to reduce Pakistan's capabilities, but surely it's not as bad as say, India testing a new ballistic missile. Doesn't Pakistan also have it's own air and missile defense systems?

Besides, the whole concept of an 'arms race' is flawed. Nobody drops an advantage over the pretext of fairness.

But I think it will be deployed in China border, inspite of Pakistan.

Pakistan is currently engaged in low level infiltration of human cannon fodder, where as China has the ability to bring man and material right up to our border and that border is sparsely occupied by our own troops.
