Russia won't join china against usa,what it will do is play usa and china against themselves while attempting to increase its own influence.Because russia can be the real key state that gives advantage to either china or usa.Russia will never be second place with either of these as it sees itself as superpower,there can't be 2 suns in one sky in the eyes of a superpower.
Plus the siberian paranoia is another issue.

China stated that it will never comply with the US-EU sanctions imposed on Iran. So, let just wait and see what India is going to do next. You guys are trapped in the middle between the Iranian oil and the Israeli military contracts ,but the PRC doesn't give a rat about the Israeli concerns over the Iranian nuclear program.

India has been able to succesfully work both the Iranian and Israeli side and keep both "on side". Can't see why this would change- the Israelis accept that India is doing what it needs to for its own people and economy and the Israeli Ambassador to India has said as much AFAIK. India is still a friend of Israel no matter what.

And what's the big problem? Are the Mig-29K, KA-31,MI-17-V5, T-90, Viky, Talwars, Akula(s), MTA, FGFA/5th gen fighter etc etc not enough to keep you satisfied? This alone is a kitty of >$45-50 BILLION USD in the short term.

Yes and no, of course the aftersale support is the crucial part with Russian weapons, but that's why we have increased the parts we produce in India over the years, up to a level where we partner projects and get less dependent on Russian after sale support.
However, having alternatives is always a benefit too, be it for customisation of Russian fighters with more capable avionics, having better weapons in war times when the Russian counterparts can't do the job, or simply not to be overdependent on Russia.
