Russia is presenting advanced military technologies and solutions, including BTR-82A Armored Personel Carriers (APC), to counter terrorism and protect facilities of high importance at the ongoing Interpolitex international exhibition that is held in Mascow from 18 to 21 October.

Apart from BTR-82A APC, the customers will also be able to get examine the characteristics of BTR-80A armored personnel carriers, as well as BMP-3 and BMP-3M infantry fighting vehicles, and a special multipurpose infantry mobility vehicle GAZ Tigr, Rosoboron Export announced Tuesday.

The Ka-226T and ANSAT light multipurpose helicopters, Ka-52 and Mi-171Sh helicopters and Be-200 amphibious aircraft will be also presented to visitors in the exhibition.

The display also includes small arms such as the Yarygin pistol ( MP-443 Grach), the Kedr submachine gun and, the business card of the Russian weaponry, the Kalashnikov rifle, in various modifications.

"Increased activity of terrorist groups, the globalization of criminal groups, as well as the use of certain methods of hybrid war by some states have led to an increase of interest in the modern equipment and weaponry, aimed to ensure national security" head of the Russian delegation at the exhibition Vyacheslav Ovchinnikov said.

.The exhibition provides for a large-scale demonstration program, during which customers will become familiar with the performance characteristics and combat capabilities of armament, special equipment and tools developed in the interests of law enforcement authorities in terms of their practical application. The state agency recalled that small arms and light armored vehicles, as well as intelligent systems for offense prevention and control were in great demand among the anti-terrorist and special services around the world, and these positions of interest were well presented by the Russian side.
