What's new

Russia, China push fifth-generation fighter programmes to meet year-end milestones

From laughing myself to death...:D...To think that there would be an F-35 equivalent is amusing enough already.

Then it fall upon tactics and creativity. One pilot could light himself up to attract attention and call the fight upon himself. Then it will depends on who has the superior airmanship.

People...Please stop it with this 'plasma field' nonsense. It is a plasma antenna => http://www.defence.pk/forums/1103970-post29.html

Gambit... you still haven't told us your opinion.. Can an F-35 track and target another F-35 head on? Can an F-22 track an F-35? (not using reflectors in training,in real combat full stealth). I was given an answer to that once. Were you ever ?

The plasma field is another story altogether to what you talk about. I think you are talking about the plasma radar screen to minimize reflection from the antenna, the field generator is different and I have said it CANNOT be done for fast jets.

Ain't telling.

Ain't telling either.

I was given an answer to that once.
Sure you were...

Were you ever ?
Yes.

I thought I made this very clear a long time ago. Any radar cross section (RCS) value is a fictitious argument. The most important element of this argument is distance. Close enough and nothing is 'invisible' to radar.

Nooo...I am talking about an array of plasma antennas on an aircraft to absorb much if not most of impinging radar signals. An open plasma field is too sci-fi at this time. The basic principles of a plasma antenna is already well known.

Ain't telling.

Well, it is simple, yes or no.

Ain't telling either.
again, yes or no

Sure you were...
yes I was, I sat in the LM presentations for the F35, I told you that before.

in that case ..do tell. we are dying to find out what you were told.

who ever said no to that ?

Oh, I see, thanks for that, I thought you were talking about the radar screen there...
