The Eurasian SCO will be admitting four new full members at their next summit.

India Iran Pakistan and Mongolia will all be joining the SCO.

BRICS. Eurasian Union. Now SCO. No wonder nato is scared shitless. Any group that includes Russia China India and Iran is a beast, politically, economically and militarily.

This situation can only go three ways:

1. Pakistan and India interaction slowly improves and slowly subsides like European rivalries in the face of post-WWII scenario (even though that situation was catalyzed by the threat posed by eastern European bloc).

2. Pakistan and/or India end up leaving the SCO or getting the other removed.

3. SCO dumps both or one of the two countries in order to preserve order.

Odds are against this union but I'll keep my hopes up until shi* hits the fan.

As and when you decide how best to obtain strategic depth and begin to topple Afghan govt. with mass defections and Taliban/Quetta Shura seizing amazing weapons and transports the militias resisting your proxies will be supplied through Farkhor primarily and Ayni in a support role.

As and when you decide how best to obtain strategic depth and begin to topple Afghan govt. with mass defections and Taliban/Quetta Shura seizing amazing weapons and transports the militias resisting your proxies will be supplied through Farkhor primarily and Ayni in a support role.

Anti-terrorism operations should be smoothly handled from Farkhor.

Entirely hypothetical scenario that bases too strongly on the assumption that the Taliban will be able to accept Pakistan in such a key role after more than a decade and half of fighting between the two parties, secondly, the limited operational capacity of Farkhor Airbase means that India (or even a joint SCO coalition, which is again hypothetical) will have to commit much greater number of troops and fighter/logistic support air crafts, based on the degree of intervention you are looking at, than Farkhor alone can handle and will require India/SCO to inevitably move operations into Afghanistan, thus giving rise to the Afghan Jihad 3.0.
Therefore, the likelihood of the SCO attaining any active military role or supporting India's presence in or near Afghanistan is limited at best.
