Rugby WC: Japan stuns two-time winners South Africa 34-32

All blacks pull it off in the end.

Man imagine if the Argies beat em.....WC of the underdogs!

@Gibbs thanks for the article bro! Yes indeed the Blossoms did a GREAT job on this game, good job too to the SA team. Both sides did a stunning job...!!!

:)

It's a great achievement for Asian Rugby mate.. Far too long it was believed that Asian Nations cannot compete with much larger White an Pacific islander dominated teams in world Rugby.. Well Japan proved it wrong and that gives immense confidence to tier two Asian nations like South Korea and Sri Lanka who are just below Japan in Asian Rugby (Hong Kong cannot be considered since the team is exclusive Brit expats)

Especially against the Springboks who are one of the biggest sides in the RWC

NZ - 9 ARG - 10

The Kiwi bench strength in the end proved far too superior to the Puma's.. That made the difference.. Sunny Bill Williams changed the course in the 2nd half.. Too much quality there

But the AB's wont have it easy this WC, With the TMO in operation some of them will be caught out just like how McCaw was yesterday.. For years they have been playing foul at breakdowns and getting away with it, Especially at fringes on off side play.. My money is on the French this time, Though my heart says my team the Wallabies..:-)

If they dont have a brain fart in a match which is very possible with the Les Bleus.. The 3 time finalists time to lift the cup and give that tremendous captain of theirs Tierry Dusautoir a fine send off

Ahhh. Fumiaki Tanaka.. The pocket Samurai.. What a 2015 season he has had.. Won the Super 15's with the Otago Highlanders, Played 50th test match for Japan and became man of the match in the history making RWC against Saffa's!!

Goes to prove that psychical size does not matter over guts and determination.. :yahoo:

This is what Rugby is all about..Very rare in other sports.. South Africans sharing the joy with Japanese fans.. A world in union

Its always a special moment when an "underdog" team gets its first victory on a world level stage against an elite team.

Much respect to Japanese rugby team.
