IMO The combined number of attack+semi attack(Rudra type) helicopters should be 500-800 for both AF and Army- AFIK the Soviets had a strength of 200+ Mi 24 operating is Afghanistan at peak- so keeping in mind two frontier war we should have 800 armed helicopters-

I honestly don't agree on this theory any more....i mean with nukes on all sides even a full frontal war with either of the adversary is highly questionable....no??
