Rs 10,500 cr remitted by Christian missionaries: Why is opposition mum?

Kick these bastards. These people are really like pests.

Since you are a christian you tell me what is your opinion about these Missionaries who are themselves a pariah in the west

Well I bet if India started giving these contracts to American firms a lot of the protests would evaporate overnight. They are hell bent on stalling India's development unless their demands are met- this is bloody terrorism!

Cant we throw a bone to Americans also you know a lot of Nuke Plants are needed so why not offer 2-3 of them to Americans to

The Indian market is open to the US nuclear industry and has been since the US-Indian civlil nuclear deal in 2008. But since then not a single US firm has entered the Indian market, why? Because of India's nuclear liability laws. The US firms claim such laws make it impossible for them to operate in India (ignoring the fact the French and Russians seem to be able to do so just fine). The only "bone" India could throw to the US would be the removal or dilution of this law and I don't know if the GoI is willing to do that.

That's the trouble with the Americans, they only want to work on their terms and if they don't get what they want they throw a temper tantrum and blame it all on you.

Brother you won't believe it but a few years back a British Christian woman married to a local man visited my home on behalf of the Jehovah's Witness organization and persuaded me(of course unsuccessfully) to visit her church on every sunday. She even tried to lure me saying that she would introduce me to her neice(who was around my age) and was visiting her in India at that time if i went to the Sunday mass. The offer was so tempting that i was thinking of visiting the church that sunday:D:D but my parents(who are conservative Hindu) created a ruckus when they overheard our conversation and literally threw the woman out of our home in a fit of rage:(.
P.S.-Personally i have got a huge respect for Christianity and specially for Jesus Christ and every year on the 25th of December i go around on a Church hopping spree to see the decorations and the lightings:P

Mate, same thing happened to me also. There are evangelical society guys who visit every home here to convert us to true religion. Even I had some heated arguments with them regarding their conversion tactics and asked them in which part of the bible said about converting people by offering them food and other incentives. In the end they told me that I will be stuck with lightening for talking against them. I said, I am fine with it. Here people got converted to those organisations because, these guys will even arrange marriages with people living in US.

Perhaps a iron fist strategy is needed to combat this Missionary threat many of which are a pariah even in the West itself

Rather than being pariahs in the West they are agents of the West!

But yes, nothing but an iron fist policy will do. Revoke licences, kick out and blacklist the foreign NGO/missionary workers. The previous GoI did actually do some good work in this regard but much more needs to be done and I hope the GoI is serious about it but they seem aware:

This is how Africa and Latin America was colonised. Keep your eyes open folks, nothing has changed, religion is still being used as a state policy by the West just their methods have evolved.

I agree with all except the RSS bit. You don't fight fanatics with more fanatics. The GoI is more than capable of dealing with this on their own with their properly authorised agencies, they don't need outside help from the likes of the RSS.

Well everyone is entitled to his/her opinion i will not fight with you over that :enjoy:

TBH those Christian majority states in North-east don't contribute anything to the centre. They are dependent on mainland India. They migrate everywhere in search of jobs. They think they are better than mainland Indians. They are not patriotic. They loyal to the Christian west.Their tribal mindset and customs like canbalism and eating dogs, cats and rodents is disgusting. Even if they seperate(they already started a seperatist movement in the past), India wouldn't be affected.

I wouldn't give a damn. It would be good riddance instead imo.

You may not give a dam but rest of India do.

Missionaries must understand that it may be a duty as per Bible to reach(*convert*) to pagans and others. Especially Protestants. Joshua project will remain a paper dream. I know, you(Missionaries) will continue your work of conversion irrespectively. still, a word of caution.
Hindus are united now and there is no chance for Mohammadan's or others now. Only logical solution is to appease majority to remain alive. When we criticized western neighbour for religious bigotry, never expected our country is slowly becoming a bigot?

instead of questioning credibility of the source try to prove it wrong ... you can check these figures in MHA website .....for my credibility I never made bogus claims like you

You're brain works UPSIDE DOWN man. You first get a reliable source and the discuss the issue. This isn't an issue that should be discussed until you put up a credible source.

Forget ISIS, AQ, IM, SIMI, radical Hindus or Khalistanis in India, the security agencies are on top of these fools it is these radical/missionary Christians that really scare me when it comes to India. Not only are they flying under the radar for the most part but they are being funded by Americans with deep, deep pockets and possibly even backing from the US government.

My eyes were opened to the threat they pose when it was revealed how it was these missionaries who were behind the Kudankulam protests. Then the GoI, to their credit, did take some action against NGOs who were actively supporting anti-national activities.

I'm telling you this $hit needs to be tackled head on, not only do they pose a security threat to India but an economic risk also- they are stalling economic development and losing India untold fortunes.

Brother, as a Sikh I agree with you that it is all the same- all paths to the same end point. But I am totally against this BS missionary work and the religions who pursue this most aggressively are Islam and Christianity and it makes me sick to my stomach.

Good work should be done for the sake of helping others not to convert others, there should be no strings attached. Certain Muslim and Christian groups/organisations are f*cking pariahs I've seen it for myself here in the UK.

I have no doubts that there are some Christian missionary workers who are a pain in the @$$. But I do question the scale of the money being quoted- according to our resident scholar on missionary work @Marxist and his looney friends at Niti Central it is upwards of $2.5 B every year. Now since they don't know how to count/ understand the importance of zeros they'll probably add another 3 zeros and make it bigger than the GDP of India.

.
You mean to Australia, US and Europe?? Dude then everybody will try to become a missionary..

BTW, isnt there a law that foreign fund to NGO's should be given to the government and then government will distribute it? I read it somewhere during Koodamkulam protest..

Rs 10,500 crore :undecided::undecided:?? Why cant they send 1% of that money to me?? :cray::cray:

Don't you want Rs,10000 Cr investment in Pakistan ? :o:

These religious outfits don't care about investment in services just about sustaining themselves. The Hindu temples in India have hundreds of BILLIONS USD worth of gold just sitting there. Imagine how much good that money could do for India if invested in healthcare, infrastructure and education but it is just sat there doing nobody any good.
