What's new

Roketsan: Turkey will launch Micro-SLV into space before 2023.

. .
Indonesia will be very glad if the cooperation is coming true. Indonesia has the best place for launching site as we are staying near equator.

And Indonesia is in middle of the ocean. We wouldn't be worried about used rocked parts will fall to peoples head if we build a launching center in Indonesia.

@MMM-E Bro any idea if this will be done before the end of year?

already done in 2021

Relatively as small as Indonesian RX450 rocket first launched in 2012, we plan to launch two stage rocket in 2025.

to be honest I am shocked

where does Turkey get this kind of money for these projects and more over even the knowledge and experience of the people

I see Turkey leading in all fields of warfare by end of this decade

Any more info abou the planned Indonesian two stage rocket? Whats the name of the program? How much weight are they planning to be able to put in LEO? I'd love to read more about it. Indonesia has the best geography for a commercial space program. It should invest in that (partner up with Turkey, especially since Turks are looking for a space port near the equator to launch their SLVs)

LAPAN program under BRIN (Gov Research Agency)

From what I know they should launch the two stage rocket in November 2024, but Covid period will delay it into 2025 the soonest.

The target is to launch micro satellite in lower orbit atmosphere.
