Roger Ailes to be fired from FOX!

.

So what does this mean for Fox News? Ailes was a hardcore republican & turned entire Fox News organisation into a right wing republican mouthpiece! Will his ouster have any effect on the way Fox conducts it's news programs?
Well we will need to see what was the motivation behind firing him? And also who replaces him?

. . .
Guess he did not like to follow the MEMO
Well obviously he has sexual allegation against him

Sexual harassment case against him by one of the anchors, Gretchen Carlson! There's no other way Fox owners would let him leave

Actually the harassment isn't the big thing, rumour is that Gretchen once voted democrat, kissing a liberal will get you fired at fox.

I still find the foreigners' obsession with Fox News hilarious.

Fox is the number 1 news network in America. It's the main stream.

Ouch..that hurts! :suicide:

In all seriousness... Fox News is one of a kind. It's way different than any other mainstream electronic news media anywhere. That's why it gets noticed & talked about. & ya...one more thing,,it's not just confined to American audience..broadcasted for foreigners in foreign countries!

Fox News is no different than any other US news.

A little bit about me...

I was awake and alert at the first CNN broadcast. Since then, I have watch the gamut of news, from the mainstream big 3 to NPR to hometown community news. Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes were more shrewd businessmen than they are ideologues. If they gave FN a conservative bias, it came from their business acumen in seeing $$$ by giving a counterpoint to the liberal big 3, than it is from personal urges to turn America into a Republican country. They were correct.

Top journalists from The New York Times, NBC News and CNN acknowledged Wednesday that, generally speaking, the national media have a liberal bias.
Ted Turner was mocked for CNN except that Turner did his homework and learned that there is a class of people call 'night owls', which includes me, and we have no problems leaving the TV on and listen to the news. Turner laughed as he tripped over dollar bills walking to the banks (plural). Murdoch and Ailes are no different in the regard that they are observant of people and what people want. Like Turner, both men laughed to their banks.

Am not praising Murdoch and Ailes. Am just decades experienced in American news.

He's fired because Megyn Kelly said he pulled something similar with her. She'll be their top host when O'Reily retires. If she leaves too FoxNews will be in trouble.

Megyn Kelly can get away with a lot of stuff others don't dare. She basically called out Karl Rove (a top Republican strategist) as a liar on national tv on election night.
