What is NAPALM??
I don't know one way or the next, but during our communist struggle, Mao was actually pretty low level at the beginning, the Nationalist keep saying they killed this and that and communist is done.
Then long march happened, that was a retreat unlike any other in modern history. Read about it pretty interesting if you like, very hard time, but you know who's in command of China now don't you.
Of course looking at your naxalite movement, it's no Mao let communists. More like Bandits.
With the limited understanding of Chinese History I understand that the Nationalists were weakened by the conflicts with Japanese Imperial Army while Mao & the communists cunningly kept their forces in reserve and when the WW2 ended, Mao defeated the exhausted Nationalists and became the ruler of China.
