apple should do. with the huge profit margins they get from making in china, making them in the usa will just cut the margin.
a macbook pro set's you back £1250.00 it would only cost about £400 max to make it. i can get a custom laptop thats twice as powerfull as a macbook at the same price as a mac.
i learnt the hard way i purchased a late 2012 imac 21.5" 2.9ghz for £1250.00. for the first 6 months of so i loved it, but then i noticed it was getting slow the hdd was only at 20% i just ignored it and lived with it. but whn it got to the point when it took 3 mins average to load up that was it. i sent it back and got a refund via insurance and got my self a custom build.
best move ever.

what you and everyone else paid extra for when paying Apple is marketing and being hip.
