I want to do this too. Do you have to get air clearance? Also is it costly?
The image, Holy awesome!!!There is*
P.S it didn't actually make it to space, but mid-stratosphere. Nevertheless you can still see the darkness and that was the goal. I'm quite happy that someone remembers it!

less than $500
And yes, now you do, because we freaked out Transport Canada since we didn't really inform them.
But they're nice enough to grant you permission, I asked them later on for one more flight, and then said sure, just let them know in advance so they can warn the pilots in the surrounding area to keep a look out.
SpaceX attempt at historic booster rocket landing fails again - CNN.com
Markus good, congrats. if they manage reusing that will be too cost effective. I believe its quite an achievement as it still landed on the droneship, was that ur friend's mind behind that. Funny when i was a kid i always used to think why these rocket cant be reused.lolz.Only if i knew.
I was just wondering that the booster rockets that end their lives in orbit and exploded satellites that is failed missions and satellites finishing their useful life, one day we will have how much space debris....??? any Ngos up for taking up this cause.lolz.
Thank you, you are soo nice. I imagine you can't do this in the city right? How far away from your release point does it land?

I just called him, he says he doesnt know a Markus.I´m somehow really proud to know this guy.
Thats the Falcon ) that is right now on its way to the ISS
I watched the live stream and made screencaps and he is visible in the control room of space X:
Its the guy with black shirt and red letters on the first line.
So far the Dragon reached correct orbit. Perfect launch. They tried to land stage one so it can be reused. Hope that worked as well.
Landing at 1:00 mark
