Firearm modification is usually done in order to enhance functionality, ergonomics, and accuracy of the firearms. I have often come across few remarkable transformations which have provided some zing to some classics. Some users tend to keep their rifles stock, and some do like to modify them. Following are the few transformations that I admire.

That is not the same gun. The first pic is an M1 Carbine in .30 carbine, and the second gun is an M1A from Springfield Armory with a fancy stock on it, chambered in .308/7.62x51. Two totally different guns here.

Also, I'd have left those milsurp guns alone, but I have to admit i'm happy that someone finally mass produced a mosin stock that allows a detachable mag.

Also, this VEPR

Is not the same as these

Notice the slant cut receiver on the VEPR. Those two above are Saiga's, in a different caliber too.

This, however, does seem to be a VEPR.
