Rick Scott calls on Americans to boycott China

U.S. Sen. Rick Scott has been among the most hardline in the Senate on the China question, and as time goes on, he hasn’t mellowed.

On a radio show Monday, the first-term Republican from Naples made the case that Americans should boycott products from Communist China.

“No American should ever buy one product ever made from communist China. They are not our friend. They’re not a competitor. They’re clearly an adversary,” Scott told host Guy Benson on the Fox News radio network.

“We should buy American products. It’s going to help American jobs. But we need to understand what communist China is. It is run by the Communist Party. They act in the best interest of the Communist Party. They steal our jobs. They steal our technology,” Scott said.

The Senator was in the private sector long before he entered politics, and he pointed to his experience there to delineate the ruthlessness of the Chinese Communist regime.

“I’m a business guy, loved to compete,” Scott said. “These guys are out to lie, cheat and steal to win.”

The Senator spotlighted China as an adversary long before the advent of the novel coronavirus. However, this crisis clearly has only reinforced his thinking.

“Communist China. It’s run by the Communist Party of China. They do all this all the time. Everything they do is for the benefit of the Communist Party of China. And nobody else,” Scott said, adding that China getting a COVID-19 “vaccine first” would not be “good for the country or for the world.”

“Because you know what? They’re not going to share. I mean, they’re going to take care of one group of people. The Communist Party of communist China. So I know. So whether an intelligence agency put that information out as possible, would I believe that that’s what they’re doing every day? Yes. Because they steal our jobs. They steal our technology. They weren’t transparent. They’ve infiltrated things like the W.H.O. to make sure they’re not a World Health Organization. They’re here,” Scott said.

. .
Good luck to them. Everyone on the planet is free to buy as many or as few Chinese goods as they wish. And if they want to change their consumption habits, the only thing stopping them is their own willpower and self-discipline. But that won't be a problem for USians, famous for their discipline :agree::pop:

.
Public boycotting is very often the last resort of a weak nation against a dominant and stronger nation, another unmistakable sign of helpless US overall strength decline.

.
So I guess all these American companies products like iPhone with "Made in China" at the back of it, will no longer be bought by American public?

You are absolutely 100% correct. The only reason China was able to "steal" our jobs is because they offered to make those commodities at an acceptable quality at a substantially lower price. The jobs of middle class Americans, especially democrat leaning union members, went to China and a small USA group of import middleman, CEO types, Wall Street investors, the "1%", benefited here in the USA. The only way to reverse that would be tariffs or some other form of taxes on foreign US corporate technology transfer. Even the latter might not stem the flow of trade imbalance since China has built its own investment capital and may have sufficient technology expertise to develop its own high technology products from scratch. We'll see. However, anger against China is going to get very, very high here in the USA so that will have some affect on US/China trade I'm sure. It will become quasi-unpatriotic to buy and sell "Chinese" products. Chinese products will need to be well disguised as American or European brands.

We'll see, hopefully Americans can do better than Indians in boycotting Chinese goods, Indians boycott Chinese goods every year but we only see more trade and surplus in China's favor with the time.

lol for real? mr. Rick think all americans are rich like him?

the highest unemployment in us history...100 percent plus house hold debt...50 percent americans live pay check to pay check they will buy all the chinese goods they can which is cheap and good quality. If you want ppl stop buying made in china products then distribute top 1 percent wealth to bottom 50 percent so they can actually afford made in usa or made in france handbags for 1000 dollar...or maybe canada goose jacket for 1200 dollar.

Politics in "democracies", especially Western ones, are becoming crazy and ridiculous. It is not a coincidence that many Western countries, who have politic-influenced medical systems and professors have to say what politicians want to hear, have failed the Covid 19 battle.

American has been stealing rest of the world money with over price products and monopolize the market. Chinese worker free the world from high inflation and hostage with value for money products.

Does Free market economic sounds familiar to you,Mr "Truthseeker", and since you have already find the root problem of your country, why don't you do something about those 1% instead of cowardly blamed the manufacturer? We are all very well know the answer.

Nothing new here:

And where did the virUS originate:

https://www.bitchute.com/video/t7JlaqIB6T28/

It was part of the agenda before the coronavirUS to boycott Chinese goods by these evil specimens. After their bioweapon, it is their policy to continue to call for Chinese boycotts.

These individuals hated China and covered-up the fact that this started in the US, by not testing until late in the game.

Italy and France tested and found cases before the epidemic in Wuhan in early/mid January 2020. While China had patient zero in China, there were outbreaks in France and Italy.

10% will probably do due diligence and refuse to buy something made in China. I doubt the vast majority would give a **** as long as it's what they want and priced right.
