Is this based on GDP?
Yes based on PPP. PPP shows real wealthy of a country, but GDP shows how much a country has produced goods... PPP is a true scale to show wealthy of a country.

PPP is not an exact measure, but it is not entirely out of context. In India my daily lunch costs me about Rs. 60, less than a USD. Beat that :P

.
India should only be at 1 trillion, they must be using secret mathematical formula to get their fake gdp (ppp).

World's Richest Countries

I think these are size of economies. There are other ways to measure "richness", say GDP per capita, number of millionaire/billionaire household, etc.

If it bothers u u are welcome to don't see it.
meh, I don't like blocking, there is always a chance a person sees the light or actually decides to have a reasonable discussion instead of crowing that the US' time has come.
