It's a common tactic across the world.

In the USA for instance when you go to Las Vegas and you're a celebrity, or even just a big gambler, the casino will pay for your rooms. And of course you get free drinks and free food too.

Whether or not it's a good idea in this particular situation, I don't really know. These "rich and upper class" people, are the ones who can ALREADY afford good housing, so I don't know why they should be subsidized at the expense of people who are not so well-off.

For instance, based on my background and experiences, I'm qualified to bid for some cities' needed positions. If I am selected, I can be awarded with 1 million yuan tax-free bonus plus housing benefits, etc.

I'm glad that ordinary people can have their discontents heard in a democratic way.

For you, why don't you study more the Chinese policies by using your independent brain? Why don't you worry more about your upper caste beats dead lower caste in each of your democrazy elections?

Giving free rental to the rich will bring more income to the city through spending by the rich, as well as incomes derived from commercial businesses owned or control by the rich guys, the operation of which will most likely be situated or move into the city.

I knew it! the most disloyal of immigrants are the Chinese in every country they migrate to. They talk big about their motherland while living off on the benefits of others countries! and just rail against the country they ran off to.

I was like , I'm a proud Indian by heritage and have issues with the US like every citizen does. But , I won't just demean it constantly and have hatred for it.
