I actually did that for at least a year, just using warm water didn't really have any effect especially on the dandruff side.



Yes diet is a big factor, which I unfortunately neglected.. Can you link me to the Aloe Vera Gel you used from Amazon?
Also did it totally reverse your thinning to a point your scalp is not visible?

yes the thinning has gone, the damage didn't happen overnight and the improvement will take its time too. The dandruff is a two part issue diet and condition of the scalp. Diet should be priority no.1

don't use any shampoo or any other hair product, on amazon search for; 1KG 99% Pure Aloe Vera Gel by Nurifi. It wont let me post the link from amazon for some reason.

Apply this daily but it will take time. if your diet is poor and blood circulation is poor too, then forget it. Good diet means say goodbye to roti and chawal!

Become active if not then I advice to fast for 16 hours a day and eat for 8. So 1/3 of the day eat and remaining 2/3 of the day fast(24 hrs in a day), this will help your body start to heal. There are some great supplements that can help boost healing of the body as well.

I'm 27 and since at least last year I have came to the realisation chunks of my hair are thinning to the point where it's barely visible (when they fall out), also when I did ustra last year, I noticed my hair from the front has ceded at least an inch on both sides.

I believe poor diet and heavy dandruff are the primary cause (blocking hair follicles), which I foolishly neglected for many years.... The diet bit I'm sorting out, also using a specialist shampoo (but its filled with harsh chemicals)..

Thus I'm looking for proven natural remedies which control dry scalp and reverse thinning hair.. I have heard good things about black seed oil/ caster oil.. any suggestions will be appreciated.

I'm also looking into FUE hair transplant, which is quite expensive in the UK and I am hoping it does not come to it.. In the meantime I plan to see a dermatologist, but the waiting times are usually long and you have to jump through many hoops as our national health service is taking a nosedive..

Thanks I'll take a look at the ingredients, I'm staying away from any medication i.e. like 'rogaine' due to the side-effects, one being once you stop using it.. hair falls out in chunks due to hair synchronization..

I know genetics has nothing to do with minerals, the thinning of my hair however cannot be conclusively linked to genetics without the diagnoses from a dermatologist, which I'm hoping to see soon (few months)..

Hairfall is mostly genetic and some people even say it's applicable for every alternate generation in certain cases which seems true in my case and I noticed hair thinning.

I've seen several people suggesting propecia or rogain but please do not use them since that's reportedly known to reduce your sperm count and also erectile dysfunction with continued use. Also, the moment you stop using rogain - chunks for hair would fall out making you go bald in a jiffy. I've started using viviscal pills since an year and that seemed to help quite a bit, didn't get back any lost hair but definitely slowed down the thinning and I didn't notice any side effects either so far.

If nothing's working, just let it go and once you have a significant balding pattern - go for hair transplant. Transplant surgeries in the US/UK or in the western world are kinda expensive but there are some really good affordable options in India or Turkey which are the transplant tourism hubs. Since India might not be an option for you for obvious reasons, you can look towards Turkey

Rogain can still be used provided you already have kids and you prioritize hairloss over sexual performance. Again, some might take this otherwise but many people loose their self-confidence when they encounter male-pattern baldness which would affect their performance in multiple aspects

A former colleague of mine here in the US who is originally from Tanzania traveled to India to get his hair transplant and it worked really good but I've also seen cases of deaths and serious infections for those performed in certain Asian countries. Do your due research before finding a credible Asian clinic or embrace the baldness and go for the Vin Diesel or Jason Statham look

bloody hell, that is not normal. see a doctor.

Its genetics. My grand father,my father and his brother all are bald headed. On my mother's side all her siblings had white hair in their teenage years.

Rograin shampoo might help.

Use oil in your hair and massage your skull. That might help if it's a minor illness.

Lots of people go to Turkey for hair transplants. Cheaper than the UK.

Ultimately though, as @Indus Pakistan said - there's no fighting your genes.

Rogaine is ok as long as you continue using it. The results are just meh.

These days you can get hair implant surgery , they insert 30,000 - 100,000 hair follicles in your head and it grows like natural hair

It is a bit expensive process

You can always wear a bandana
