Reuters: Turkey says China's CoronaVac efficacy 91.25%, likely to increase

ANKARA, Dec 24 (Reuters) - A COVID-19 vaccine developed by China's Sinovac Biotech is 91.25% effective and the rate is likely to increase based on late-stage trial data, Turkish researchers said on Thursday, as the country becomes the second trial site to produce results for the Chinese candidate.

The researchers, part of the government's science council, said no major symptoms were detected during CoronaVac's trials in Turkey, apart from one person who had an allergic reaction.

Turkey had agreed to procure 50 million doses of Sinovac's CoronaVac by Dec. 11 but the shipment had been delayed. Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said the vaccines would arrive in Turkey on Monday, adding that Turkey would vaccinate some 9 million people in the first group, starting with health workers. So it's pretty much on par with the Moderna and BioNtech vaccines, which is no surprise.

Anyway, it's good news for the world. The more options there are, the better.

Unlike the death trap mRNA vaccine which basically shot a new virus into your body, China's vaccines are in general, far and away safer, and they have under the microscope investigation by the biased west media and still work like wonders.

Meanwhile the Pfizer's German mRNA death-trap of a vaccine not just need you to store them under -70 degree C, but also need you to sign an agreement to prevent you from sue them for any long term effects or unexpected side effects the mRNA death trap may have put on you in the future.

No wonder Pfizer's CEO sold most of his stocks of the company now.

So it's pretty much on par with the Moderna and BioNtech vaccines, which is no surprise.

There is no comparison, I would rather have no vaccines to shot then shot vaccines built by the unproven death-trap mRNA techs.

mRNA vaccines is essentially shot a RNA agent (basically a "good" virus) into your body and the RNA agent will invade your body cells like the usual virus and produce lots "less harmful" but similar agents to let your body gain immunity against the virus they want to protect against.

But the problem is nobody know whether this "friendly" virus wont produce harmful protein under the right conditions.

People dont want to eat gene-edited foods, but mRNA vaccines are one-step further to directly edit your own body-cells.

Thats why no mRNA vaccines have been used before, actually the tech is mostly designed for treat cancer when everything else has failed (e.g. they are intend to treat these nearly hopeless cases).

And thats why Pfizer need you to sign an agreement that you cannot sue them for any unexpected side-effect/long term effects you may have from this vaccine or death trap.

The application of COVID-19 mRNA vaccine on the mass should be regarded as probably the largest scientific experiment on public ever.

China also have mRNA vaccines under Phase III trial but it is at a very low priority for the reason above.

mRNA..newest and safest method, but newest means there are unknowns, there is just a gene pack inside.

viral vector (oxford one)... the least safest but most effective method, very cheap to make and no temp requirements, we are hoping this works

inactivated virus... old tested method used in influenza vaccine theoretically less effective then viral/mRNA and also theoretically less safe but should be choice for third and second world countries given temp requirement of mRNA method

Have you decided not to take any vaccine?

There are two COVID-19 vaccines in China that are use traditional method to develop and test, if necessary I will take one of them, but I would rather not taking any of these vaccines for at least a year.

As for mRNA vaccines, sorry, I wont take any of them, including the one being developed by PLA institute of medical science.

What does it matter if you can or can't sue? If severe side affects occur, then the public will know about it. In which case, the vaccine manufacturers will lose billions.
