Seems bhartis are still living under akhand bharat wishful thinking
no madam and call us bhartiya not bharati.

With your knowledge and writing skills, you should write a short book on the history of South Asia individually covering all areas.

It would be a very useful and I would definately buy something like this for reading.

If I got a chance to write a popular History of Pakistan and Afghanistan from Ancient Times to Today, I'd kill for it. It'd cover

  • the Indus Valley Civilisation,
  • the coming of the Aryans,
  • the Zoroastrian religion,
  • the years under the Achaemenids,
  • Alexander in South Asia,
  • trade relations with Europe through the Middle East,
  • Buddhism in Central Asia,
  • the Greek kingdoms of Balkh,
  • the coming of the Scythians and their settlement in Sakasthan (Seistan),
  • the Pallavas,
  • the mysterious Kushanas,
  • the attack of the Huns,
  • the counter-attack and how the tribes were absorbed,
  • the Parthian Empire,
  • the Rajput age,
  • the Sassanians,
  • the Arabs in Sindh,
  • the Shahi kingdom,
  • the kingdom of Khurasan,
  • Timur and the Turks,
  • the might of Ghazni,
  • the Rise of Ghur,
  • the Sultanate and the Afghans,
  • the Mughals,
  • Ranjit Singh,
  • Ahmad Shah Abdali,
  • Gulab Singh and Zorawar Singh's conquest of Little Tibet,
  • the British enter,
  • the fall of the Punjab,
  • adventures in Afghanistan,
  • conquest of Balochistan,
  • the Indian Mutiny and the fall of the Mughals,
  • the Great Game and relations with Central Asia,
  • modernising Islam and Sir Syed Ahmed Khan,
  • the effects of the first partition of Bengal,
  • the age of the Muslim League,
  • an unexpected parting of the ways.

I'm sure one or the other chapter is out of sequence; don't sweat it, it'd be properly researched by the time I actually write it. Actually, I'm already working on a pre-history of Central Asia and South Asia.

It'd probably be an e-book; no self-respecting publisher would publish it ;-)

Be afraid; be very afraid. :-D
