Restoring Nepal as Hindu State: shutdown enforced by hindu group

@ Jana:
If i read what you are trying to say correctly.

So what wrong in it if Maoist can tumble down so called Hindu monarchy and mix of democratic political system. Then other groups have right to protest what they want. There are many Islamic nations where Islamic way of life is enforced by law and constitution. If Nepal was categorised as a Hindu state then is well understood that there will be many groups in effort to resort the same past.

Preemptive mode (before you you blame India for that) on: However i think these vulnerable small groups will be neutralized by ISI smugglers and China loving Maoist extortionist, very soon.

I have no issue what they want. neither i am saying anything yet.

Just read what Nepalis say.

A hindu state is as good as a secular state with just name changed...however would like to see if the teachings of Bhagwadgita are followed...

True. But people like bal thackrey must be kept away.

Lets see what maoists counter this threat to their extremist ways...

Good news. This was bound to happen. It is only a matter of time before monarchy is restored and "Hindu" statehood is restored.

The Hindu nature of Nepal is what kept India and Nepal almost like one nation.

Majority of Nepalese have slowly started realizing the mistake of letting the maoists have a free run. We have not only historical, but mythological bonding with Nepal.

Keeping in mind the size of Nepal, it is like a Vatican City for Hindus, but much liberal.

FEW FACTS ABOUT RELIGIONS IN NEPAL

About ninety per cent of the people are Hindus, 5.3 per cent are Buddhists, 3% are Muslims and the rest of the people comprises of other religion. Hinduism and Buddhism are the two major religions in Nepal. There is a complex blend of Hinduism and Buddhism in Nepal. Although a Hindu kingdom, all deities are worshipped by Hindus and Buddhists alike. A remarkable feature of the land is the mutual bond of friendship between the people of the two religions. Buddhists are mainly found along the northern border area and in the eastern part of the country. Hindus are found in the south and west and Muslims are mainly concentrated along the border with India.

I think hindus are more secular than any of the other religious groups..!!! I mean majority of hindus support secularism and not a hindu or an islamic state. May be this is the result of lack of dummy gods who claims to be the holders of the religion and the lack of twisted interpretation there by...

Hindus have to grow a lot more.. and those illetrate hindus of the interiors who practises many of the reduntant ancient practises have to come up to the modern world..!! and sure they will with the widening reach of media..!!

And by the way i am all the way in support for a secular world..!!! Go Go Secularism..!!!

Whats the difference between Hindu Nature of Nepal and a Nepal as a Hindu State?

Do you support such status for Nepal? if yes then what are the reasons?

The most likely reason is of the identity. It will not make much of a difference because hinduism doesnot have any laws. I would say go for it ... be what you are.

Do not worry. As long as "lallus" stay away from Maharashtra, he has no interest in Bihar's vicinity.:woot::woot:

If LALUs is for LALU YADAV and his family then no problem...and if it means people from Bihar..then its not gonna happen..

Hindu nature of Nepal refers to the cultural, historical, and mythological entity of Nepal. The thinking and way of life of people of Nepal.

Hindu state, however, refers to a political status of Nepal.

Yes. I support "Hindu" status of Nepal, although the decision entirely rests on the people of Nepal.

The state of affairs in Nepal after the dissolution of Monarchy is a reason enough for the scope of this thread for my support to Nepal's Hindu statehood.

To give detailed reasons, I will have to go back to the summary of Nepal's history.

Yes I mean bastards like Lallus and Paswans only. Ordinary people from Bihar are too poor and do not dare to cause any problems.

For your information.

There is already Shiv Sena in Nepal called Nepal Shiv Sena headed by Kiran Singh Budhathoki connected to Shiv Sena in India.

Very correct. Hinduism does not have any "forceful" laws, but only "voluntary" guidelines told in gentle verses. Those who follow them are Hindus and those who refuse to follow them are also Hindus.

Hinduism recognizes existence of 33 crore gods (330 million), a concept difficult to understand for non-hindus, but has a deep significance to it.

There can be no such thing as a "Hindu state". The only proper functioning "Hindu kingdom" was that ruled by Lord Rama as described in the Ramayana. No other Hindu king or queen epitomised or led his or her kingdom in accordance with the rules of proper governance as laid down in the Hindu scriptures. Anyways those scriptures were written way before Hindus were first introduced to other religions. Accordingly if the Nepalese want a proper "Hindu state" then they should turn to secularism which best identifies with Hindu principles of living one's life in peace with your surroundings including your neighbours, not being swayed by maya, understanding that this life is temporary and therefore being ignorant by demanding that you be accorded certain privileges etc. Secularism best identifies with Hinduism
