LOL unreal....
---------------------------------

An Open Letter to the Leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran:

It has come to our attention while observing your nuclear negotiations with our government that you may not fully understand our constitutional system. Thus, we are writing to bring to your attention two features of our Constitution — the power to make binding international agreements and the different character of federal offices — which you should seriously consider as negotiations progress.

First, under our Constitution, while the president negotiates international agreements, Congress plays the significant role of ratifying them. In the case of a treaty, the Senate must ratify it by a two-thirds vote. A so-called congressional-executive agreement requires a majority vote in both the House and the Senate (which, because of procedural rules, effectively means a three-fifths vote in the Senate). Anything not approved by Congress is a mere executive agreement.

Second, the offices of our Constitution have different characteristics.

For example, the president may serve only two 4-year terms, whereas senators may serve an unlimited number of 6-year terms. As applied today, for instance, President Obama will leave office in January 2017, while most of us will remain in office well beyond then — perhaps decades.

What these two constitutional provisions mean is that we will consider any agreement regarding your nuclear-weapons program that is not approved by the Congress as nothing more than an executive agreement between President Obama and Ayatollah Khamenei. The next president could revoke such an executive agreement with the stroke of a pen and future Congresses could modify the terms of the agreement at any time.

We hope this letter enriches your knowledge of our constitutional system and promotes mutual understanding and clarity as nuclear negotiations progress.

Not that I'm pro-Iranian policies in region(I'm against both Saudi/Iranian proxy mess in Arab world), but I'm just confused by American Christians. I've never many met non-American Christians who's lives, political decisions, culturual paths, policies all revolve around Israel. Is this something about Christian religion or do republicans use it as a tool to get support or accuse democrats of being 'Muslims'? It's mostly evangelical Christians that are this way. Most Christians I know are Catholic and could care less about Israel. But US political sphere seems to be heavily influenced by evangelicals. These evangelicals unfortunately have ruined the lives of my people with their fanatical pro-Israel cult like stance that has given Israel free rein in past 60 years to do what it wants, on top of that get added benefits.

You are Christian I assume? Catholic or evangelical? Does your faith emphasize supporting Israel?

Has there been any reaction by the regime yet? I wonder if it would change anything...

I was  when I heard of this 'Letter of Iran', but then I read it. (The 1st post is word for word copy paste of the letter.)

It's more of a letter written by a 2nd grader on the separation of powers of the federal government. Case in point the wording of the letter.

But US political sphere seems to be heavily influenced by evangelicals.

Pretty soon, it'll be by atheists. Evangelical Americans are early 19th century to late 20th. Ideals change. Evangelicals supported abolition (prohibition of alcohol) but now you can see them every Friday night at your local bar.

Not all evangelical Christians are Zionists. It's easy for anyone to say "I support __*Foreign Nation*__", but ask the follow up question of why? And you'll notice the isolationist thought.

White House is pi$$ed. Iran is still choosing it's wording.

yes sure its US senate. so US can do what it wants. but question is

where is the money to make iran dance to the senete tunes ?

In other words they are trying to say : Hey! No one can trust US and obama is just a poor nigga who can't do sh!t. Now leave the table and forget about any deal .

Not about trust, he's African American and they can't handle it. They're fuming 24/7 due to black man holding presidential role and will do everything to piss him off.

They are from the Judeo-christian faith!!! a contradictory faith in its core, Jews do not recognize Jesus at all, and those evangelicals are mostly Masonic. They believe more in Alchemy than in God...and alchemy today is the mass's mind stirring and adding any components or flavors to it.

Alchemy, Masonry? I've heard of those...although most say it's conspiracy. In order to convince masses, it has to be explained what their beliefs/objectives are and how they reach them. I do agree though that whatever it is, it's far from what abrahamic religions are.

For me, judeo-Christians are Jews and Christians who happen to be white. They believe they're ancestors of prophets and that prophets were white. And civilization was created by them and so on....it's supremacist ideology. That's why you never see any black or brown people associating themselves with 'Judeo-Christian' culture.

I know tons of non white people associating themselves judeo Christian culture and one of them is Obama. All religious Christians I know also support Israel because it is part of their prophecy that the bible tells about. It is purely religious. Of course there are some exceptions but I'm talking about mainstream.

In response to the letter Obama said that if there is any deal at all it will be presented to the American people to approve it, hence the congress will have to approve it too.

Obama is atheist, he doesn't give two shits about religion. As I said before, being 'Christian' in America is interpreted as being part of tribe. Many Muslims and all Jews interpret it as this way as well. Which is why we can't coexist. Most people today who follow these religions are ancestors of people in past empires that followed no abrahamic religion.

In response to the letter Obama said that if there is any deal at all it will be presented to the American people to approve it, hence the congress will have to approve it too.

If a republican gets in office, this country will go downhill and middle east will be on fire. Many of these scum in congress don't care if they bomb children in mass to pieces as long as they're Arab/Muslim. Only thing that could change that is civil war in US. Which is a step most people are afraid to take. Unless republicans demonize African Americans even more than they are now.

Jews/neocons believe in prophecies. They desperately are trying to fulfill them. Since neocons want Jesus to come back and Jews want David(or whoever the phuck the donkey is) to rule earth and establish Israel. Israeli right wingers are making promises to blow up Aqsa Mosque this year to build third temple. At same time Jews make big profits during this process. So unfortunately if we can't clamp down on these lunatics who want a religious war it will lead to pointless massacres which will affect ordinary people that never wanted this to happen.

First of all US started supporting Israel only AFTER the Six Day war 1967.

Secondly what ruining are u talking about? US gives billions to your people each years (both direct aid and UN + UNRWA). Without Israel and US u would be nothing but third class citizens in Egypt.
