well sir, whether cows are religious or now is a different issue... everyone is free to eat whatever he likes... i m personally not in favor of any ban... cattle smuggling is huge problem in my part of country bordering bangladesh... cattles of poor people are stolen ( there only source of milk and earning) i saw that mysself.... you really thiink people will show mercy when they get those thieves?? i myself saw lynching of cattle thieves in my place..even muslim families were there in the mob.....

That sir is failure of your law enforcement agencies to protect people and their property. Apparently what happened in this case is people went after these guys because they were transporting cows, there is no established fact yet that they had stolen someone's property, even if they had that does not mean that Mr B+C+D can start killing people for stealing Mr A's property.

okk sir, as you wish.... but blindfoldedly thinking that this incident was done by hindutva vadi gangs.... try to be calm and think your self in place of villagers.. what would you have done sir, if your car/any precious items were stolen? you would have tried to stop the thieves... given the fact that you are civilised and won't kill them but those villagers are hotheads specially when there source of income(milk, etc) is being stolen..... i personally have seen thieves robbing poor people of there only income.... condition in bengal borders are such that people sleep in stables to protect there cows...(not becoz of religious bindings) @Color_Less_Sky
