Reopening mosques a good idea?

Turkey has started to reopen its places of worship. I'm not sure if this is a good idea.

Looking at our neighbor Iran, who is experiencing the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic, I'm pretty sure that this will lead to a catastrophe.

Mosques should never have been closed. Truly the only secure places on this Earth is Allahs house of Worship.

Even laying your prayer mats 6' apart is wrong as you are letting space come in between brothers who are told to stand shoulder to shoulder with each other.

Was re-opening Restaurants, Gyms, Cinemas etc. a good idea?

Why should a place of worship be excepted?

Aceh Province in Indonesia always open their mosque during outbreak and even the mosque is open for Tarawih during Ramadhan. And we can see that Aceh province is now the least effected region in Indonesia in term of Covid 19 case. I think it is a miracle.

But I cannot give my opinion on the opening of the mosque, particularly after nations are reopening their economy and transportation. During the lockdown, I prefer the mosque to close, but after the economy start reopening, I dont have any opinion about it. If cities prefer to open the mosque, then precaution measure like wearing a mask should be the obligation for any one wanting to pray at mosque.

Turkish discipline and patriotism knows no comparison. I am continuously impressed by the Turkish nation.
