This day is not only for our Shia fellows. This whole “tragedy” has also political aspect.

It is the day that teaches us to stand by with haq against jabar and injustice

'mun kunto maula, haza Ali un maula', prophet (peace be upon him) said. and then hazrat omar (ra) got up and rushed towards hazrat Ali (ra) to congrat him. he said to hazrat Ali (ra) that congrats to him for today he got up as 'maula' and will be goin to bed as 'maula' and that today he has become maula of whole muslim ummah and also a maula of hazrat omar (ra).

companions of prophet (peace be upon him) always used to praise hazrat Ali (ra) when sittin in a gatherin to figure out who is the hypocrite in that gathering.

hazrat aisha (ra) said that prophet (peace be upon him) took Hazrat Ali, Hazrat bibi Fitima, Hazrat Imam Hussain and Hazrat Imam Hassan (ra) under his shawl and said:
O Allah these are my ahl-e-bayt.

how can any muslim not love ahl-e-bayt? how can any muslim not cry today for the atrocities by kharjis?

Ya Hussan o Hussain, O Sher e Ali
