If this is real pakistan, does this mean that the area where hindu temple was vandalized is fake pakistan/part of another country?
HourlyThat incident is an anomaly, a rare occurrence, not the norm.
Especially in comparison to the torture and mass murder of minority groups in India, that happens on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis, decade after decade.
What about Ahmadi Muslims? Aren't they persecuted in Pakistan? 298-B and 298-C of the PPC officially discriminates against them, let me quote 298-C as an example:
"Person of Quadiani group, etc., calling himself a Muslim or preaching or propagating his faith. Any person of the Quadiani group or the Lahori group (who call themselves ‘Ahmadis’ or by any other name). Who, directly or indirectly, poses himself as a Muslim, or calls, or refers to, his faith as Islam, or preaches or propagates his faith, or invites others to accept his faith, by words, either spoken or written, or by visible representations, or in any manner whatsoever outrages the religious feelings of Muslims, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years and shall also be liable to fine."
So is this a fantasy or a fact?
What are you trying to say? Ahmadis are not a minority? Therefore, it is justified to persecute and mistreat them?
Even then you don't make sense. Firstly, Ahmadis are a sectarian minority, like the Shi'ah. Secondly, the Pakistani State officially declared the Ahmadis a non-Muslim minority (which is absurd).
So any way you slice it you are proven wrong.
There is no religious harmony in Pakistan. End of story
I think it's hypocritical of Pakistan to criticize mistreatment of Muslims in India when Ahmadis are mistreated in Pakistan. The discrimination which Muslims suffer in India is social, economic and political, but at least it isn't legal. But in Pakistan, the discrimination faced by Ahmadis is upheld by law, in addition to being social, economic and political
that part is our dirty laundry. which we wish to clean. its a shame that incident happened and even if the condemnation is reactive and too late but it is there. If this is real pakistan, does this mean that the area where hindu temple was vandalized is fake pakistan/part of another country?
