Religion and torture go side by side

.
Bit harsh generalizing relgious people to be this way or that. Though it's probably true they're more segregationist than they admit. I tend to think many of the loud mouthed religious radicals to be hypocrites. I love the "my religion is better than yours, because......."

Having said that, I don't see much difference between mad Christian fundamentalists, Muslim fundies, and Hindu fundies. Perhaps the only difference is that the Christian fundies are more scared of the law cracking down on them. In the same situations, their mindset isn't any different.

The only difference is that, in some parts of the world, Muslim fundies and, in one or two places in the recent past (IIRC Serbia), Christian fundies have sophisticated weaponry, guns, grenades, et al.

Hindu fundies haven't reached a critical mass in terms of their access.

Otherwise, all of these *******s are the same. Exactly the same.

Before some people start railing at Islam, know that Islam strongly forbids torture. To go against this is an act of disbelief, and those people cannot be considered adhering or 'religious' Muslims.

Well, theoretically all religions 'forbid torture', you can find one or another quote to say so, directly or indirectly.

Hi,

Indeed they all do---amazing isn't it---when you look at the the practises of its vehement followers and fettered believers---stunning it is to how much pleasure they seek from this very practise.

.
I'm afraid that the Prophet Muhammad did torture people with great brutality. Proofs can be given - if you like start a thread for it.

Hi,

That name should not have been brought up in this discussion. There was no need and no reason to do so. Prophets of GOD have never been invovled in any inhumane act---for that reason people follow them---either it is budhha--moses---christ or Prophet Mohammad or any of the hindu deities. Torture is practised by the disciples.

Secondly---I don't know where my MODS are on this board----you should have been permanently banned by now.

You are certainly entitled to your beliefs.

There was a discussion some time back with Mod Agnostic about what is and isn't Kosher. I think that post is within the limits - but I am sure the Mods will take their own view of it.

One of the good things about such a forum is that people are exposed to varied and perhaps dissonant information which allows their own views to evolve. But I don't particularly want to disturb those who are not interested in contradictory views.

I think khalafat should be restored in muslim world ,,atleast they have one united shourah and khalifa to resolve their problem.Presently muslim nations are neither following western democracy nor muslim system of government

British moarchy is still intact which is sign of stability in western democracy.West have adopted many good things from muslims.

So it clear that which ever rule or law is helpfull of once country why not imply it in the society. Mostly what happens is that easten countries are following western culture and western countries are following estern culture. The one thing we should not forget is our own religion and culture at any cost, bcoz his is what we have got from your forefathers, so preserve it like a jewel throught youe life and then pass it on to the next genration as our forefathers have done.

.
I will wait for the mods to make the decision first---then I will comment

I firmly believe in freedom of speech---but there are certain things that are not kosher over here or anywhere.

Or you believe in Freedom of speech when it comes to things you don't object to ?

If someone cannot question basis of religion that takes away freedom of expression on large segments of thought. For example, if the same was applied to Hinduism, posters would be unable to question Caste system etc (Which I firmly believe was an error in the religion). There was a thread earlier on the same forum criticizing Dalai Lama and there were a couple criticizing Hindu gods.

If you think criticizing Islam is the only thing not allowed, it might be simpler to just add to the forum rules rather than kicking individual users out. I certainly could find nothing in the current rules. It is a Pakistani forum and you can set rules up as you want, but making up rules halfway through a thread is pointless.

holocast is a story created by joos and their allies i agree with you but europeions jailed a historian in austria for denying it
where was freedom of expression??????????

.
That said, who put the thread under WoT /Pakistan's war section ?
Religion and torture don't relate to the current war in any direct way, does it ?

So they don't believe in freedom of expression or believe that freedom of expression should be curbed when it hurts the feelings of a community. It is a written law in those countries - if you have a problem don't go there. Most scholars accept that they are restrictions on freedom of speech
Freedom of speech by country - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

BTW, having seen the survivors of the Holocaust, I am certain that it did happen and it happens in scales described in mainstream textbooks. If denying it makes you happy, so be it. But it only lowers my opinion of you if you start blaming "Joos" for worlds problems.

now compare ur own words which you said before

Thanks for your pity... may be next time I'm hungry I'll use it for cooking :-)

All I said is that saying you are "strongly for freedom of expression" and then denying freedom of speech in the same sentence was wrong. Can't see what rules in Austria have to do with my views.

If I am Hypocratus, I'd be a proud doctor. If I am a Hypocrite, I'd check myself. But who is a Hypocrate ? A large sized crate ? A confused Hyprocrite ?
