Redwan had one of the best snipers in the entire Middle East. Unfortunately he was eventually killed during long Syrian conflict.

Redwan is very small Segment of overall HZ Force. They do most specially OPs and HVTs.

That kit is actually basic to what I have seen them equipped with. Most of those items are off the shelf.

Here is a couple of US “militia” civilians for comparison

Decent gear is no longer exclusive to world class militaries. (Exception might be high grade body armour as some countries have laws against selling of high grade body armour to civilians. A Precaution to prevent violent crimes)

There was a Redwan video during the Syrian conflict where they raided and captured a high value terrorist target and they were much more decked out in gear. They even wore the Israeli “chef boy” hats (used to hide the shape of the head at a distance for protection).

you cant be serious dude , so many iranian SF units and regular ones are better or similarly equipped.

forget about their equipment. and look at their training. looks like Hezbollah has been cooperating with Russian forces. their were many reports of Russians being impressed by Hezbollah and even sending in men to observe them in Syria.

looks like it went deeper than that.

Sponsered and equiped by Iran, but training appears to be Russian inspired.

Meanwhile in Iranian SOF, and Saberin corps.... Our commanders don't give a damn about our infantry. From all the state news videos, I have never seen equipment or training like this in Iran despite the fact we can manufacturer all this equipment and provide more advanced training courses due to our access to funds and facilities that are harder for Hezbollah to acquire.

Compare with 55th Airborne Brigade
or 65th Airborne Brigade or Creme of the Crop. Compare the combat efficiency of thier rifles between ISOF and our takavars still using Kalashnikovs. It's truly shocking, and shows how little we care about our people.

How can one expect meaningful contribution by units deployed abroad when they are under trained and under equipped.

Are you kidding? The SNSF guys in the first pics are wearing ProTec's which are just bump helmets with no ballistic protection. The third guy is wearing US army UCP with a Ranger tab. Fourth picture is a promotional image for a company called Milicam. Sixth image isn't from Iran. 7th is a prototype from the IPAS exhibition. 8th is the same idiot as the third pic just wearing the Ranger tab on his helmet?. Guy in 9th pic is okay. Everything after the 10th pic is no way near well equipped as the Redwan guys.
