Redrawing constituencies: MQM asks judges to apologise

Please tell me how Altaf Hussain can be sincere to Pakistan or Karachi, when he chose a foreign passport and a stay in the country he has willingly adopted. After all MQM followers pretend to be very educated, they might know the answer.

Please tell me how non- resident and foreign national Pakistani are here on PDF writting 1000's of post from last few years why would they do that ?? most i beleive are dual nationals what interest do they when they have already left this land and aquired foreign nationalities !! waiting for a educated reply

.
I was surprised to know that so many MQM legislators are British citizen.

So the point drives home that a party that has militant wing and foreigners running the show cant have interest of the city they get the most votes from.

All these British citizen legislators get the foreign citizenship through asylum by bad mouthing the country they eventually represent. It just shows they dont have interest of the country at heart.

Dual nationality: Six lawmakers including four ministers resign in Sindh
DAWN.COM | 2 days ago 0

KARACHI: Failing to submit affidavit before November 30, deadline set by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to submit declarations on dual nationality, six lawmakers including four provincial ministers of Sindh on Saturday resigned from their posts, DawnNews reported.

Among six lawmakers, four belong to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and two to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

The lawmakers who resigned include Minister for Finance Murad Ali Shah, Minister for Technical Education and Mines and Minerals Sadiq Ali Memon (PPP), MPA Abdul Moid Siddiqui, MPA Askari Taqvi, IT Minister Raza Haroon and Minister for Sports Dr Mohammad Ali Shah (MQM).

A total of 16 lawmakers (including the above six) have failed to file the declarations on Friday as asked by the ECP.

Earlier on November 28, MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar had filed a petition with the Supreme Court, challenging the authority of the ECP to collect declarations on dual nationality from lawmakers.

In the petition formulated by Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan, it has been argued that it has yet to be decided whether after 20th amendment, the election commission can ask incumbent members of parliament and the provincial assemblies to furnish fresh affidavits.

So the point drives home that a party that has militant wing and foreigners running the show cant have interest of the city they get the most votes from.

ISLAMABAD:
As the Election Commission of Pakistan’s deadline expired on Friday, 16 lawmakers failed yet again to submit affidavits regarding their dual nationality.
Nine members of the National Assembly were among the 16 lawmakers.
Sources said that among those who failed to file fresh oaths, affirming that they did not hold foreign nationality, seven legislators were from Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), two from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party each, one from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and one of the lawmakers was an independent candidate.
Among the nine MNAs who failed to submit their affidavits were Syed Haider Abbas Rizvi, Syed Tayyab Hussain, Dr Nadeem Ehsan and Fauzia Ejaz Khan of the MQM. Syed Allauddin and Chaudhry Tasdadduq Masud Khan of the PPP did not submit their declarations. Also, PML-N members Sabeen Rizvi and Araish Kumar and Maulana Muhammad Qasim of the JUI-F did not file their affidavits.
Five members of the Sindh Assembly who failed to file their declarations include provincial Finance Minister Murad Ali Shah, son of former Sindh Chief Minister Syed Abdullah Shah and Minister for Technical Education and Mines and Minerals Sadiq Ali Memon, Abdul Moid Siddiqui, Askari Taqvi and Muhammad Raza Haroon.

Meanwhile, Malik Salahuddin Dogar is the only senator who did not file the declaration. Javaid Iqbal Tarkai, a member of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, is also on the list.
Both Mir Lashkari Raisani, the brother of Balochistan Chief Minister Nawaz Aslam Raisani, and independent candidate Haji Khan Afridi submitted their affidavits at the last minute.
Now that the deadline is over, the ECP will begin deciding the fate of these lawmakers next week.
A senior official of the ECP while talking to The Express Tribune said that the issue would be brought before the Election Commission in a meeting next week and the next course of action will be decided then.

what you gona call sons of IK, SAS of future?
what you meant is IK getting donations from dual national pakistanis, is actully getting it from CIA ,s & MI6 agents, & all the pakistanis with dual nationalties living outside /inside pakistan are agents working for other GOVTs? wow what a great funny logic

.

@pak-marine shahzaib khanzada in his program raised a valid point that since 30 lakh pashtuns have migrated to karachi which means there should be a new constituencies and seats should be added to the city of karachi and since 30 lakh population moved away from KPK, the constituencies should be removed

The dumbest man of the century award goes to you and that shahzaib.
