There are still remnants of them in the loins of men. They will fight with the Dajjāl.”

7. They love the Sunnah until it fails to agree with their desires.

8. Their worship is plentiful and their fashion for faith high, but they are the “worst of creation” and the “dogs of hell,” as noted in an authentic hadith of our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him).

9. They do more to harm the truth in the name of truth, pushing people in droves away from the light of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He).

10. They have a sickness in their heart that causes them to lust for power and control, using religion as a gown to cover their illness. This is in the hadith of Abu Umāma where the Prophet (peace be upon him) describes them as such.

Unable to find the article, probably Saudis have gotten rid of it somehow like their murderer king got away with murder of a journalist. But oh well Saudis have been doing this wahabism program since the 1970s in poor muslim countries. Pakistan was their prime target for their war against Iran. Well it helped the CIA and ISI to make afghan taliban as well when they used these talibs from the madrassas to recruit mujahideen. When USA left, the madrassas have been since creating even more militants like these. They are currently 24000 in number according to economictimes of india (not credible ofc) which are being funded by Saudis. I know discussion of God and stuff is banned in this forum, so instead of saying anything about truth of religion, I'll only present the view of history of religion, hopefully I think not against rules. from my academic influenced opinion one thing I'll say: religion cannot be softened without anti-religion. in Europe, the Catholic Church spread it's terror (against the heretics) until anti-Church Protestant Reformation and anti-religion Enlightenment didn't come along. now the Church is softening when all the people got sick of it's antics and left, and they couldn't stop people from leaving by burning them because the State became protective of rights, essentially against religions. without stiff opposition from equally fanatical opposition groups, all institutions and structures start empowering themselves without limit. Protestants too did their own extremism in USA but they were limited by Enlightenment influenced secular constitution. just see Saudi Arabia: is spread it's own version of Islam everywhere without any anti-religion, so now even more radical religious people threaten them. Saudi Arabia has seen multiple terror attacks and threats against it by the most radical. would you imagine?

Enlightenment thinker John Locke is the father of Anglo Saxon enlightenment. He was not anti religion. He was actually very anti atheist. He believed in the rights of Man under God and he believed in religious freedom under God [which is in the Quran too] by which no church, religion or religious interpretation could dictate to another using state power.
