What's new

Red Mosque's Maulana Abdul Aziz is threatening policemen with violence

. . .
Pak economy down to almost bankruptcy in 5 months - it was doing pretty good before toppling of the gov.

Estb gave green light to terrorists of ttp swat to return again, some sort of a deal.. I know one guy he was working for ttp but whole family received punishment by blowing up their house & now the family is on roads & asking for money, clothes,no roof on their heads..The man who was responsible for the shit & probably involved in killing army men & police officers is back again, he was the guy for which army, police used to carry out search operations in the area & take people out from their house in a town + threatening them & bad mouthing to tell where is the most wanted guy or anyone knows his whereabouts...now the wanted terrorist is back with his friend terrorists ~ thanks to establishment -- once again the secure atmosphere is evaporating slowly with the release of terrorists to the region.

This institution has exposed itself so badly -- these clown genrails are the biggest security threat to this country - already destroyed the economy

This lal-masjid guy is another Toy of the estbmt
than y'all get annoyed when public shows hatred towards their own army

I don't know if higher ups think this terrorism, terrorism is a game they can use like tap water

AISI harkaton pe nafrat hi milegi, PC destroyed our society, absolutely destroyed our society and now you're playing with the same guys?

Soul crushing, break's my heart

If it changed my city of Lahore forever in some ways all the way near Indian border wtf did it do actual war zones, omfg and you are playing with em for politics?

This is cancer

Land was given to them by General Zia.
They built and operated a jihadi factory there with his blessing.
His son Ijaz Ul Haq regularly intervened to prevent them being punished.
His older brother was a former diplomat before becoming a terrorist. He even worked for UNESCO.
The whole family had close ties with Al Queda leadership.
He was released by the Supreme court after having fought a pitched battle in the capital with police and armed forces.

What more evidence do you need? A stamp?

I'm at the point I would personally light up this mosque on fire and be done with this mess.

I am absolutely convinced Aziz is a tool of the establishment. Otherwise how does a man directly involved in the martyrdom of the police and armed personnels is exonerated and roaming free. In addition, he has known links with Al Qaeda and other terrorist entities. At the very least he should be rotting in jail for creating chaos, if not hanged.

I guess the vigos are only good for picking up the likes of Shahbaz Gill. While scum of the earth Aziz, Ehsanullah Ehsan, PTM enjoy perks of the government.

This country’s institutions are beyond repair.

It might be a very controversial thing to say but I agree with @Trango Towers , the mosque and the madrassah needs to be leveled for good.

So Pakistani army will use any means necessary to keep Pakistanis oppressed, they will use state institutions, police, rangers and even terror against it's own citizens... To what end? They seem to be hell-bent on destroying this country, probably already made arrangements overseas to settle after breaking it apart.

Masjid Zarar
Nothing but Masjid Zarar. and its coupled madrassah expanded on Usurped land. its a great shame how the political opponents, religious opportunist , the greedy media and misguided population rallied together against General Musharraf and made the raid on the red mosque a gave sin and attach on faith (totally forgetting the Islamic past how Khawarij were expelled and culled by Arabs who attacked or occupied Grand Mosque).

I mean only few miles from the centre of the state of Pakistan and few miles from ISI head quarters and GHQ , this guy (Abdul Aziz Ghazi) mocks at the state, refuses its constitution and justifies the killing of army men by TTP killed by TTP but no one dares to touch him, see his pictures( and videos) how he is welcomed like a hero in "courts" and custody, watch how even his nephew and sons are able to press charges against Gen Musharraf.

Gen Musharraf's govt does bear some responsibility, the whole raid, its prelude and aftermath looked apologetic and sheepish.
the explanations were pathetic and defeatist and only fueled anti govt anti army sentiment.
The narrative was stolen by TTP, hostile media, lawyers and religious thugs and the event was used as a rallying cry by TTP to recruit more brainless thugs to slaughter Pakistani population. resulting in tens of thousands dead and tens of thousands maimed ,crippled and their lives shattered.

it really messed up the general public's mind as well and the army (YES) .Pakistan army almost successfully covered up what impact it had on its own personnel due to continued poisonous campaign in favor of Red Mosque thugs and TTP. there were killings within Pakistan army where sympathizers turned their guns on their fellow soldiers, willingly laid their arms to TTP and even went across to Afghanistan to join Taliban or Al Qaeda and plan attacks on Pakistan army, Navy and airforce bases.

Some sane voices say that Abdul Aziz and the whole red mosque drama was orchestrated by the establishment who were tired of Musharraf and wanted to get rid of him.

Everyone is part of establishment, even IK.
It’s just everyone has their compulsions and when those compulsions begin to threaten the establishment then he/she becomes unwanted

very likely.
the way Red mosque defenders were found out to be fully prepared and already waiting in to ambush the raiding party suggests that there might have been some deliberate leak or carelessness.
what didnt help is that some SSG soldiers reportedly refused to take part right at the start. this is the extent to which the TTP rot has penetrated the minds of the society leading up to our elite military units.

on the side note. roughly in 2009 or 2010 (after few years of Red Mosque operation) in Mangla Cannt a serving caption gunned down one of the SSG soldiers who had reportedly taken part in the Red Mosque. another serving army caption (hailing from Pindi) had deserted Pakistan army and left for Afghanistan while his brother who was junior officer in Navy was caught after the foiled raid to capture a Pakistan navy vassal that was docked at Karachi.
Red mosque has a cult following now. the Islamabad civil administration, police and the Lawyers have many open and covert members that are staunch supporters of Abdul Aziz.
when i used to study at Islamic university I used to offer prayers in Red Mosque when Abdul Aziz's father used to lead the prayers.
the place took a sinister stance right after TTP declared war on Pakistani state to avenge its support for American war on terror.

I lived nearby red mosque, his father was the first Imam and was close to Gen Zia. He was also chairman of ruet hilal committee. He was gunned down just outside the mosque, Abdul Aziz survived the assassination.

There was also a suicide attack on ssg base in tarbella ghazi. Army officers were afraid of getting out wearing their uniforms.

my cousin was serving in Gujrawala. he told me he cant go out in the city with Uniform due to bullying by the Hafiz Saeed thugs. Noon league Khawaja Saad Rafique also used to taunt on talkshows (during mid 2000s) that Pakistani officers cant go out in uniform in many parts of Pakistan on their own.
