Few Quotes from the original press release from BCG.

In terms of individual countries, the nations showing the largest absolute gains in wealth were the United States, China, the United Kingdom, and India.

Outlook

Tjun Tang, another BCG partner who worked on the report, said that the firm expects global wealth to grow at a compound annual rate of 5.9 percent from year-end 2010 through 2015—to about $162 trillion—driven by the performance of the capital markets and the growth of GDP in countries around the world. Wealth will grow fastest in emerging markets. In India and China, for example, it is expected to increase at a compound annual rate of 18 percent and 14 percent, respectively.

BCG - Press Release - Global Wealth Continues Its Strong Recovery with $9 Trillion Gain, but Pressures on Wealth Managers Persist, Says Study by The Boston Consulting Group

We are a growing Democratic nation. So progress is slow, but the outlook is excellent. Wait till corruption in India is tackled with upcoming legislative changes, It should give the growth rate a shot in the arm.
Now Pakistani's who are talking about Indian toilets, try to find out where your country is in that list or article instead of imagining China's success as yours.

pakistan has done a better job than india in spreading wealth. India has put all the wealth in the hands of not too many.

Lol is that so?

Yeah pakistan has done significantly well

.
so what? ^^

That's the corruption's perceptions index. It's a measure of how introspective a nation is. It means absolutely nothing except how willing people are to admit their government is corrupt.

that has nothing to do with the number of millionaires or spread of wealth.

.
some figures to compare. The top 10% in India own more than half the wealth.

The 10% in Pakistan own around a quarter of the wealth.

Which has a much fairer distribution? Pakistan clearly.

Most of India's rich are self made, rich only for the first or second generation. They made it because of their business acumen.

Most of Pakistan's rich are Jagirdars as land reform was never carried out in your country. Wealth inherited and amassed due to injustice.

i dont think this is true. Pakistan was more feudal than India when the two were formed. However the Indians did have more business centres of British India. It seems wealth distribution has become worse since partition in India.

the point is still the same. Pakistan has a better wealth distribution than India.
