The reason it is called Gaddafi stadium coz in 1974 Gaddafi made a speech there. It was Islamic summit in 1974 and Islamic world was trying to unite. In honor of that brotherhood it was called Gaddafi stadium. I think due to its history this name should never be changed.

Yes. And Im old enough to remember that summit and ZAB cheek kissing a bunch of foreign dignitories at arrival airport..
Dont bury our history because its unpopular right now. Anyway, Libya was better under Qaddafi than now.
