Thankfully, Pakistan has historic and proven good relationship with Sri Lanka because of the commendable military support against the Tamil terrorists.

Sadly, the civilian governments have treated Sri Lanka as a taken for granted ally because of the goodwill earned by Pakistan's military.

Considering the Chinese factor, the taken for granted factor by Pakistan towards Sri Lanka is more easily understandable.

The way Indians work is to not let any opportunity pass to malign Pakistan and try to drag Pakistan in negative light as much as possible.

If only people could value the meaning of an intriguing post. Honestly, I've never bothered with who is who, rather what is being discussed but more importantly what is between the lines and being avoided, like the sonics at 3am. Musharraf also chose a low-intensity conflict(Kargil). Why do you think that was so? I don’t doubt Musharraf being a brave general, but he didnt go for full blown war either. Care to explain why?

Since it is apparently ok to engage in conspiracy theories, it is quite possible that Pakistani elements sponsored this attack to hurt the pro-India PM Ranil Wickremsinghe's chances of re-election.
