Rare Iranian Air Force "F-4 Phantom II" Image.

Stumbled upon this beautiful image and thought I should share it with you fellows.

The picture may be taken in Shiraz but I think that the Phantoms in the pic are from USAF….The tail code HR indicates that these perhaps belonged to 50th Fighter Wing , Hahn Air Base that was a frontline NATO facility in Germany for over 40 years during the Cold War.

Iraninan AF Phantoms mostly had a desert camoflauge…heres one..

Any knowledge if Iranians are still flying F-4s??? The surely are keeping some F-14s on flying status till now…

Wow, I suppose that picture really needs a "Big" Citation! It was posted on the Iranian Air Force page recently on wiki. One more reason to doubt wiki's vulnerable Information!
