There have been a spate of rape threads on the forum with trolls of different nationalities using this very serious and grave topic to insult each other and their nations.

1. Women should be respected.

2. The very real victims of these attacks (women are treated badly all over the world be it Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, America etc) should be respected.

3. It makes the forum look bad and lose credibility.

Could moderators please lock all such threads or monitor them very tightly and issue bans to violators.

I have sisters and feel disgusted at reading such stuff.

@Andromache please feel free to comment.

Moderators and Webmaster are not firm enough in banning this topic and all such threads.

Agreed on 1.

Disagree on 2.
As men too are victims as they are many times wrongly accused specially in the west where the women rights have gone bonkers...

That is true...

but I am talking about cases of established rape against women, used by trolls to attack their "opponents'" nation

This is a military forum, what are trolls doing talking about rape?

Women who are in general much physically weaker and often not capable of resistance (more so in patriarchal "third world" countries than in the west)

Please Please close these rare threads, they not only are a insult to the victims, by which the members from different nationalities take potshots at each other but it also degrades the prestige of the forum..The Webmaster should take firm action in this regard

There should be one thread on last Delhi rape as it turned into major news internationally and has become a political issue in India. Other random posts should be deleted.

local rape news are banned But when it becomes a national and then internation, you cant hide the fire!

RAPE is a collective shame hence i see Men from this weak region called subcontinent are bent upon to opposing en-mass raising voice for women and against this crime just because it brings shame to men and our society.

Give a break to mentality of all of you when raping women does not give you any bad look and lack of credibility howcome pinpointing these incidents on a forum can give it so.

Lets expose shameful Indian/Pakistani/ any nationality men

@Andromache You have seen what had happen in last days. People really don't care to discuss the problem and find practical solutions. They bash each other's nation, post new threads instead of one thread about all local news. They had bash religion but failed to see that its misinterpretation of religion that is the root of evil.

People are too emotional to talk on this subject. They won't listen to practicality and rationality.

They won't listen to immediate steps and pro-longed steps to be taken. Problem with this sub-continent is we get too much involved in one particular crime that after its over, people forget it.

Right now there are many laws are made in India but I know they will become useless as people have habit of putting it on others.

People blame police, people blame govt. people blame rapists, its the people from where police come, its by people the rapists and murderers become ministers and its people who is indifferent to eve teasers which generally leads to rape as they see no one is going to stop them.

No one wants to see fault in themselves. That couple was lying on the road, people passed by, Police argued and it took 2 hours to take them to hospital.

Men are blaming women, women are blaming men, all are blaming Rap artists, Bollywood but no one wants to look at their own self.

If one tries to make them see their side of fault, people go ballistic on them. The biggest hurdle for people who really want to make a change and work for it is the people itself which suppress them, mock them, don't support them as these people have done crimes against women and children.

The problem also lies in emotional public. They get so high on emotions that after certain period of time they fall down to ice cold mentality. This fluctuations in emotion creates problems for rational and practical measures.

No one wants to understand criminal psychology, sociology, social conditioning and other important aspects.

They pass one liners, "Hang them, Shoot them, Cut their heads, Men should respect women, Men should change their mentality. "

We all know these things. Why people don't actually understand the problem itself and basic reasons ?

All are on high horses and God Forbid if a terrorist attack happens in India, all these people will turn to that issue.

Its better that many people don't help at all than people with no idea of anything, creating troubles to the people who are making difference.

We don't need entire population to change. We just need few percentage and we will build it gradually so that the causes can be up rooted. No more cutting of branches.

At last, its up to us to think what will creates more pressure on govt. ? Simple answer - Votes.

Take a pledge and propagate the idea that you won't vote to ruling party which couldn't control violence against women. Spread the idea to ask people not to vote Congress if they don't take stricter actions.

Politicians love Votes more than anything, Some even love it more than Family. No need for any type of protest against any crime or problem. Just protest No Vote to Ruling Govt. Just see how they take care of entire situation.

Pakistani human rights organisations/ Media started this struggle during Zia era / defied everything / went to jails.

The noise died downed just like it had in India recently but the activists did not rest and kept their strugle moving.

You need the same.

We are getting it. These candle marches are not just for showing solidarity. It helps in getting people involved in the struggle for longer time.

We can't do a political rally to address the issue. We have to bring people out and then make the move. Every march or protest brings many people. We just hope at least 10 % adds up and start their own struggle on their own or with our help or support.
