Build Ram temple in Ayodhya: Subramanian Swamy to PM Modi - The Times of India

Main points from the article....
1. appointment of a former Chief Justice of India like SH Kapadia as the executor
2. Designated minister like Gen VK Singh as a liaison
3. Ask the hereditary supervisor of Babri masjid to formally withdraw his claim to Ram Janmabhoomi
4. Offer an alternative site for a masjid to be build at public expense across the Sarya river.
5. Call a meeting of Islamic clerics including from abroad and seek endorsement.

Reject all above and focus more on 1.Improvement of road and rail links 2.increase in Industrial and agricultural productivity 3.Revolutionize the education and health sector in the next ten years and 4. A decent retirement proposal for Mr.Swamy

When millions of a country do not have access to even clean drinking water, where people are still dying from mosquito and snake bites it is a crime to engage in such rubbish talks.

1. Let the court decide, or let the two parties settle among themselves, no need of government interference.

2. Not a single penny of tax payer's money should be spent on building mandir, masjid, or any other religious structure, let the devotees fund the mandir & masjid.

go by the record and record only, return the land to rightful owner.. in this case shia muslims...
build a mosque for them.

Isn't this matter sub judice?

Mr. Swamy should say it straightaway - Ram Mandir must be built, period. Why unnecessary paltering!

It is. - so either the Government finds an out of court settlement with all parties before the Court reaches a verdict or the Courts take the final and last call.

He has said it directly many times before..so have a lot of other RSS/assorted alphabet/ people

sir can article 370 be also removed?

Sir bhang article 370 is permanent and not be removed at any cost. Any idea of settling fake kashmiri pundits in IoK will also back fire and even 2 million Indian army will not be enough.

Agreed upon settlement out side the court is quite unlikely I reckon. It's the court that has to call finally, everyone will have to accept whatever the verdict court passes.

swamy and his friends... :pop:
ta na na ta na na na na....................
tana na tana nana naa........

Seriously, this guy is distracting Mr. Modi. Modi should be paying his concentration on what he was elected for, development. These issues are non-issues, let the court deal with it.

That is the problem though, doesn't matter what the court decide, there will always be one side that will feel injustice. And then there will be a repeat with riots across the country.

That seems to be the most likely course of action that will happen.

I dont think its like that. Modi is paying attention to his core agenda. He knows as clear as night and day that its not the temple that is going to get him elected again, its the economy and development. I am personally satisfied with his course of action - he seems to be taking constantly incremental changes instead of any single major change. And even those small incremental changes are facing massive opposition from Congress and Left parties.

And he seems to be steadily chipping away at the opposition with it instead of trying his hand at one major blow which could face immense resistance from Congress and other parties and galvanize the Congress base.

My own estimate is that he will start on the big bang reforms in the middle of 2015, when state elections of 5 states will be out of the way and he seems likely to win all 5 of them. That would immensely strengthen his hand in Rajya Sabha(Upper House of Parliament). He can't get any bills passed on his own right now even though BJP dominates the Lok Sabha but it is ridiculously weak in the Rajya Sabha (which is represented from local state elections).

And the cause of my confidence that this is the strategy that he is using is because he has done exactly this in Gujarat over a 10 year period. He steadily but unrelentingly kept knocking back Congress in small amounts and other parties in Gujarat...to the extent that today Congress holds nothing in Gujarat, it is literally eliminated from that state.

That is the problem though, doesn't matter what the court decide, there will always be one side that will feel injustice. And then there will be a repeat with riots across the country.
People can cry over it, but the decision of the court will be binding regardless of how ever many riots happen. Eventually people will learn to move on.
