No, you said that Modi is being distracted by Dr Swamy and all. I dont think that is the case at all. I think this is a one two blow. While he can not keep the public occupied by developmental and economic issues and reforms(on account of Parliament numbers), he will need them to focus on something else. That is where Dr Swamy comes in. Particularly if you know that UP bypolls are just round the corner and that the state election for UP is 1 year and a couple of months away. Both aspects tie in.

Agreed upon settlement out side the court is quite unlikely I reckon. It's the court that has to call finally, everyone will have to accept whatever the verdict court passes.

My point however was that Dr Swamy is not speaking randomly, it is carefully calibrated by BJP(ie Modi) to affect UP bypolls now and state elections next year. This is an educated guess on my part.

That Land belongs to Hindus since it was built over a demolished temple and we shall take it back even if it requires force.No one can claim that land more than Hindus.

Ram Janmabhoomi and Ram Temples are core issues and the matter needs to be settled along with the Mathura and Varanasi disputes. The faster we settle the faster we can move over to other things.

The longer we wait and let this fester and sore, the longer relations between hindus and muslims will suffer.

Their demand is logical.a mandir in Ram's birth place..But by doing so,it may hurt the religious sentiments of other section..Moreover some anti social religious fanatics(on both sides) will take it as a tool for further harming....

As to the existence of the Ram Temple, you do not have to spin a new "secular fact". The Allahabad High Court has conclusively established it after viewing Archaeological evidence.
