Rajput and Kshatriya mass conversion to Islam

generally Rajputs fought with Muslim some of the most Brutal Battles in the Medieval India.even today Rajputs are Most anti Muslim Race n India due to their Bloody History with Islamic Armies who invaded their kingdoms.

but i have noticed that virtually all Rajput and kshatriya clans of Punjab and Sindh have Converted to Islam.

1) what caused this rajputs to convert to Islam ? Longer Muslim rule ? Benefits ?

2) did Muslim rajputs ever fought with Hindu Rajputs ? do they have martial history ?
3) how Muslim rajputs saw Islamic invaders such as Mughals, Afghans, Persians, Turks etc etc.?

Not Rajput but Kshatriya, Sethi of the Khukhrain Clan.
Noted for killing Muhammad Ghauri and stopping Mahmud of Ghazni's 17 attempts to enter India.
Our clan was independent until we assimilated with the Punjab under Ranjit Singh. The clan comprised of Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims that lived together, there were no communal issues, the clan was organized on bloodline not religion.
The Muslims were converted by the missionary efforts of Khwaja Fariduddin Masud Ganjshakar.
At partition, most of the Hindu/Sikh Khukhrain left for India and settled in and around Delhi as far as I know.

1.*Language* sufi made it much more acceptable, Thanks we dont have today's Mullah back then.. Islam was spread by Sufis and Scholars, most Rajput you look around are still sufi.

2. i am not much into history of castes and tribes, @xairhossi can you answer..
3. They maybe in past but not current generations, Muslim rulers of subcontinent are respected in Pakistan irrespective of caste, tribes among Muslims.

Very few. A lot of people are Rajputs, many people have Arab or other Muslim family names that their ancestors adopted on conversion.

Kohlis and Chadhas are very influential people in North. khatris are very tall and strong people in North punjabas, i am 6.1" and my dad is 6.3" but still we felt average in Gurudaspur and vaishnodevi(Jsmmu)

Yes, it appears that our clansmen did well for themselves in India. I think sometimes it would be nice to have a community again, even many of our own relatives refuse to be identified as Sethis but instead have adopted the title of Sheikh, its quite disappointing.

We don't follow the Martial Race model in Pakistan and additionally no one knows about Khatris. Since there are very few of us. Most of the people I talk to are hearing about it for the first time.
