The thing is those people who have hearts for Karachi have been made powerless...

This was the same Karachi which was leaping frogs the development, leaving other cities way behind, in Musharraf era and now, look at it.

if we doesn't lose hope, we will win this city again. The city of our dreams. No other city like Karachi if she gets properly developed.

and to be honest khi is now beyond repair and the best possible solution imo is to build smaller cities in suburbs of karachi some 40-50 mins drive from center supported by good public transport infrastructure and roads people will start moving to these new cities that will ease pressure on old cities prehistoric infrastructure i think if 30-35% people move to new cities somewhere like bahria or fauji city then old citys will be less crowded less polluted and back to life!

and you have to appreciate the long term planning of fauji inc they grabbed land on both sides of motorway understanding the demand and now they will make serious money! if only they use such foresight when dealing with political elite!
