China has very large territory and huge population. The highly efficient public transportation is critical for China's economic development. The railway system along with various stations are very important to Chinese daily life. Chinese have great enthusiasm to build splendid railway stations,

The design of the railway station needs to meet the public demands and usually embed the local history and culture symbols. I want to show some pictures of them.

Sanya station. Sanya locates in Hainan island and is a popular travel destination in China. It's China's Hawaii.

Haikou East Station. Haikou is the capital of Hainan province.

Yingchuan Station. Yingchuan is the capital of NIngxia Autonomous Region, where the majority is Muslim.

Lasa Station in Tibet. You can see the obvious characteristics of Tibet's traditional architecture.

Shigatse Station (newly opened). Shigatse is the second largest city of Tibet.

DunHung is a small city in Northwest China. It locates on the ancient silk road. It is famous for the Mogao Caves and the desert scene.

Hohhot is the Capital of Inner Mongolia. Its railway station was designed like the Mongolian yurt and Genghis Khan's tomb.

Suzhou is a city in the Yangtze river delta with long history. It is very close to Shanghai.

Fuzhou is the capital of Fujian Province, which is at the southeast region of China. Fujian's culture is the original to those of Taiwan's.

Xiamen is the second largest city in Fujian Province.

Qufu is a very small city in Shandong Province, North China. It is famous because it was the hometown of Confucius.

Qingdao is a coast city in Shandong Province with a very short history. It is a important port city in north China and a very modern city. Its railway station is my favorite. It looks like a butterfly.

Jinan is the capital of Shandong province, a typical north China city

Wuhan in the central China is a important hub for the high speed railway. It has at least three large railway stations.

Wuhan Station. I like its wave structure a lot.

Wuchang Station. Ancient Chu Kingdom style.

Dalian North Station. Dalian is a port city where Chinese AC Liao Ning was born.

Ninbo Station. Ninbo is a port city in east China and the second largest city in Zhejiang Province.

Jiaxing Station. A small City in Zhejiang, close to Shanghai

Chengdu East Station. Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province in southwest China.
