A strategic railroad, passing through Iran, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, came into service on Wednesday in a ceremony in Iran’s border province of Golestan.
railroad connecting Iran to two Central Asian countries of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan will benefit the whole region.

The railway can connect great countries like Russia, China,

@Kiarash , @haman10, @yavar ; about time? Yes, absolutely. This could have and should have happened even earlier. But for the fact that Iran found itself on the fringes; which was something to do with politics internationally and within Iran.
But now is the time that the rest of the corridor to the Gulf of Oman i.e. Chah-Bahar should be completed, bypassing the contentious bottle-neck of the Hormuz Straits and giving a gateway to both the CARs and Afghanistan. That will help Iran to reclaim its rightful place in the region.

yeah man , about time .

the railroad to chabahar is also being completed , which will enormously boost our trade with others in the region .

iran is turning to a Hub too , be it on the ground or in the air due to its geopolitical position .

the same route would take 7-8 days previously, but now only 20 hrs !!! it will help the economy of the whole region BIG time ... hope to see a Kabul-Tehran-Baghdad- Damascus-Beirut railway soon !
