Rahul Gandhi promises free healthcare for all if voted to power in Lok Sabha polls 2014, slams BJP for politics of blood
India Today Online Dehradun, February 24, 2014 | UPDATED 13:11 IST

"We (Congress) gave you right to education, right to food and now we will provide you with the right to health," Rahul told a rally in Dehradun.

Stating that the Congress understood the pain of the women and hence gave them 12 cylinders, he assured the gathering that the Congress-led UPA government would ensure passage of the Women's Reservation Bill.

He said the Centre had sent Rs.7000 crore for the redevelopment of Uttarakhand and thanked Army jawans for help rebuild the state after devastating floods ravaged the state.

The Gandhi scion launched a vicious attack on the BJP, accusing it of practicing "politics of blood", adding the party can stoop as low as "turning one religion against another and one caste against another" to get power.

He also slammed the BJP for taking credit for Information Technology revolution, saying it was his father former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, who ushered India into the computer-era.

Modi flies only on Gujarat Inc money
TNN | Sep 29, 2007, 01.42AM IST

GANDHINAGAR: Known to seldom travel by commercial airlines, high flying chief minister Narendra Modi mainly flew aircraft owned or chartered by various private companies since 2003, his flights steadily increasing over each of the last five years.

Leader of opposition in the state assembly Arjun Modhvadia, who got this information from the state government using the Right to Information (RTI) Act, estimates that these companies spent around Rs 16 crore on the chief minister's flights.

Of the 100 flights that Modi took since 2003, 68 were in private aircraft owned or hired by Reliance, Adani and others. These companies and some other corporate houses also chartered planes from Poonawala Aviation, Futura Travels, Asia Aviation, AR Airways, Orient Flying School, Taj Air, Rain Air Services, Deccan Aviation and Planet Aviation for Modi. Between January and July this year, Modi flew 24 times on private aircraft, beating the records of all pre-vious years.
His trips this year to Japan and Switzerland with a bunch of industrialists were handled by Planet Aviation and organised by Adani. Modhvadia said: "No earlier chief minister of Gujarat has abused his powers to get such favours from the industry. Modi should, instead, have either used the state aircraft or commercial aircraft services like CMs of other states."

Going by official figures given by Modhvadia, Modi used the state aircraft only 10 times between January 2003 and July 2007, and flew commercial flight only thrice — to Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong and Australia.

Principal secretary in the CMO K Kailashnathan said as he was not dealing with the subject, he could not comment on it.

Modi flies only on Gujarat Inc money - The Times of India

After selling ''garibi hataao'' for 6 decades, after failing to build infrastructure for 6 decades, after failing to provide education, healthcare, electricity and law and order for 6 decades, after failing to even become a middle income country after 6 decades, after destroying the poor man through unprecedented food inflation, after reducing defense spend to the lowest ever since 1962 - all this through record corruption actively protected by the party and populist schemes that will destroy the economy for decades to come, now the shehzada is promising healthcare for all!!!

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me!

This cancerous, anti national, monarchist power mafia must be eradicated. Modi is right, congress must be utterly destroyed to save this nation.

Given right to education but no education.
Given right to food but no food. :azn:
Now coming right to free healthcare but no healthcare!!! :omghaha:
Post election - if these traitors should be tried and sentenced - one by one.
:agree:

After observing the events it is safe to conclude that the idea of a Congress free nation is necessary. The very existence of the party is a threat to the existence of the nation.

From distributing desi, Congress progressed to health care. We should atleast appreciate the gesture. Right before recalling the haunting memories of nearest govt hospital and realizing what health care he is offering...

Why next election. Why not now?
