Rafale is not a Game Changer - Senior Analyst Shahzad Chaudhry

For that I would have to explain how a mirage will fight and how the F-16 will, very long a tedious.

Hence I can give you a hint.

The mirages strength Lies in the the front and how the pilot wishes to turn that nose of his.

No matter where you start a pure dogfight you will always end at the deck.
The strengh of Mirage is its Instantaneous Turn Rate. But at a kinetic energy expense.
Strengh of F16 is its Sustained Turn Rate, helped by a comfortable T/W ratio.

so : Mirage has to win at the beginning.

But the higher they fly, the best it is for Mirage and the worst it is for F16.

FYI

"The truth is that the Meteor isn’t that new at all as it has been in development for nearly two decades. Still there is no doubt that the missile is extremely impressive, but it is not necessarily the best solution for the beyond-visual-range (BVR) job for all fighters and for all scenarios."

AIM-120D is very impressive AMRAAM and its effective range is TWICE that of older AIM-120C7 model (close to 200 KM mark).

AIM-120D is very well-rounded and resilient AMRAAM - effective in both WVR and BVR engagement capacities (rare characteristic). This weapon system will deliver results in situations where even AIM-9X might not be able to.

Some strike platforms are equipped to utilize an AMRAAM to its maximum potential while others are not. For instance, the latest F-15 variants can make the most out of an AMRAAM in potential engagements which is not possible in the case of Rafale - a medium capacity/capability Western fighter jet.
All meteor costs a hell lot & a lower shelf life

Indian planners made a serious of blunders. SU-30 was over hyped and isn't the best type of AC for front line skirmishs with light fighters, especially in the era of data links and smart munitions.

I'm not complaining. The PAF could have two 5 gen AC in its inventory in the next 10-20 years (AZM and J-31 or better versions). Plus large amounts of JF-17. Best AC IAF will have over that time is 4.5 gen Rafales (or similar American type).

Yep, well acknowledged in the world that Pakistan shot down an Indian Su30:-

Yup so do we regarding F16s courtesy Israel :azn:
And even with all that information you weren't able to shoot down an f16 in feb 2019. :azn:

Plus, some schooling for you:

Pakistani pilots fly Qatari rafales for them, instruct and guide the Qatar air force just like other Gulf States

The IAF doesn't have this leverage regarding Israel do they?
The Israeli Air Force is one of the best in the world, especially in terms of pilots. They don't need guidance from people who fly to Pakistan and get their planes shot down for tea. 🍵

Here, an Indian source for you as well, since you street shitters just dont shut up:

He is retired for several years now. Every new induction is not told to every retired officer. Policy could change any time. Stop taking everything as word of GOD. The claim of J-10 and other jets could be true and could be false. Just wait things out. And if J-10 come it won't come as answer to Rafale for GOD sake that answer most likely will be F-16 new model. J-10 would be a Mirage replacement if claims are true.
Still waiting on ur F16s? last time u mentioned, you had some inside info which ppl like us dont have... but nothing seems to be happening, like at all. lets hope this doesn't become another of ur fantasy, like the SU35s one, which u were so confident about but later turned out to be just another tall claim of inside news...

Pak Airforce is well aware of Rafale's capabilities. We have better relations with Qataris.
Baqi ap samajdar ho.
Negative. But they're working on it.

Negative about the Rafales being instructed by Pakistanis for the QEAF.

Also the number of Pakistanis advising the Middle Eastern air forces is reducing.

Didn't stop you from losing two jets to our F16s. Nakal k liye b akal ki "jarurat" hti ha jo tum logo k pass ha hi nhe.
Losing two jets ? Yaa, in ur dreams.

And we saw how PAF defended Pakistani skies when IAF mirages crossed LoC to Bomb Balakot in KPK on 26th Feb.

You shot a down an old Mig21 after it crossed ur airspace chasing Paf bogies and wreckage fell 15KM inside pakistan.

.
We should add some newer, better jets to Blinders squadron. That's what I have guaged from this. We have AWACS, we need 2/3 more of EW planes.

That was a very successful interception, iaf pilots were so scared they dropped their payload in haste and run towards their bases
