Their safety record with the Mirage 2000s is pretty good though. Rafales would be no different.

Just hope indian air force does not bring Rafales 1-2 miles insider our air space....OR if they do, hope we don't have deployed any equivalent EW and missile asset yet with our air force (AESA radars, PL-15s etc).

Because if that happens-----you know how bad poor Russians have had with their aircrafts' publicity getting crashed and shot down left and right for past many decades

Btw, Rafale is a beast. You can just feel how much more harder would it be to detect and shoot down Rafale compared to Su-30s.....which weren't much of a problem for our F-16s in recent butt whooping we gave to the indians over Kashmir.

What these Indians fail to comprehend is that it’s not the just the machine that makes a difference, rather it’s the man behind it.
If they couldn’t do anything with their over glorified and holy Sukhois I doubt Rafales would help them much.

Besides, by the time Indians will receive their rafales, we would already have a significant number of jf17 block 3s armed with aesa, hmds and better A2A missiles. Not to mention project Azm.
So I think we ve pretty much humbled the Indians for the next decade or so atleast.
