Rafael in $1b Indian anti-tank missile deal

I don''t think this is true because IA already bought or going to buy Javelin ATGM.

"Defense News" quotes sources as saying the technology transfer was the main obstacle. The magazine did not say whether the companies that stayed out of the tender refused to share their technology with India.

We are replacing all the Konkurs in our arsenal I guess. Well Nag is a very big missile and I think it will fall under the category of Hellfire. It is not Man-Portable. So i think that this procurement is for the Konkurs.

DRDL will also start working on the,`Man Portable' Nag very soon. It would weigh less than 14 kg. So to fill that gap IA is acquiring these Javelin/ Spike.

If we are really buying SPIKE then we must go for NLOS..This has a range of approx. 20 Km..much more than any thing available ..
We can have an LCH flying with SPIKE-NLOS with HELINA...
