My kids class has no Chinese students but does have a Vietnamese kid whose parents pulled him out of school about 3 weeks ago because of the abuse and bullying he was getting

My son was saying
Kids were making 'X' sign's towards him
Pushing him away
Refusing to sit next to him
And openly abusing him

I told my son to make friends with him, it's nothing to do with him, but by that time he was out of school
