There is a bias towards batsmen here.

It is not impossible but the kids dont want to become fast bowlers,lazy.

Our people of Punjab/Himachal/Haryana/Rajasthan are the same as a lot of your people.

But there is no boost towards fast bowling.

That is because India didn't produce legends when it came to fast bowling and Indian kids had no one to look up to and imitate. Whereas here a street child too will try to look like Shoaib or Wasim or Waqar or Imran.

Here in Pakistani cricket clubs, if you can't touch 135-140 kph, you are not considered as a fast bowler and termed as a medium fast.

Ya,i agree and thats what i was referring to.

Here,poor kids love football/hockey more than cricket and i feel thats a good thing.
