I don't think I've ever been racially profiled at an airport, though I have heard stories of foreigners being racially profiled.

Probably? In other words, YOU have no idea what that rod is actually used for. Right now, I can buy a set of used orthopedic support for a broken leg and strap it on and no one would be the wiser on whether I have a real broken leg or not. So whose argument is the failed one here?

Forget the racial aspect. The issue is profiling itself. Race is a component of it. If you are going to profile, why are you doing it and what are you looking for?

It's not just whites. Go to the UAE, if you are South Asian they tend to be more inquisitive and wary. At least that's what I saw happening when I went there. And I cannot imagine why the US would racially profile Japanese, Koreans etc.

I agree with you guys. I see that this young lady is racially profiled. By the looks of her, she seem to be an Asian and targetted for special attention by TSA.
